I’m talking about Journey of Greed, the pirate-themed deck-builder where you’ll need to strategize and measure whether you’ll work with or betray your homies to collect the most gold. While I’ve never been a huge fan of card games, Journey of Greed stands out from the handful I’ve flirted with in the past. Instead of battling my opponents like in Pokemon or Yu-Gi-Oh!, this game forced me to work with three other players online to collect gold and traverse perilous islands. It’s a unique twist that combines strategizing, teamwork, and of course, a bit of backstabbing.

Journey of Greed is a four player card game full of deception, danger and robbery. I say it's not greedy because most card games require you to spend money to buy decks, but this game allows you to collect a large number of cards without spending any money on you. It's a paid game on Steam, but the mobile version can be tried for free. The game can be a bit challenging at first, but each player's strategy is so varied and free that you never know what will happen in any game. Different unique characters have different talents, as well as the ability to build decks. If you have an abundance of creativity, then you will be more likely to win in battle.

As a pirate, sailor, or whatever “scurvy cur” you fancy yourself to be, you will explore the Lost Isles with three other companions in search of a legendary treasure. Time to test your friendships! Bring your friends and family along for an even more amusing adventure. Such thrills are sure to make you eve closer... At least we hope... While plundering landlubbers can be endlessly gratifying, don't forget to work together! Cooperation can lead to unexpected discoveries.
