I spent half a decade playing Overwatch and later relished most of Overwatch 2, all the way up to Season 2. With Season 3 debuting not too long ago, on February 7, 2023, there’s so much to unpack and a lot more to look back on. As someone that’s enjoyed the game so much, I’m absolutely stoked for Season 3. Firstly, Overwatch 2 Season 3 is jam-packed with action and a buttload of goodies. The battle pass features a ton of interesting cosmetics, as well as other stuff like icons and banners to bling out any player’s account. Oh, not to forget, there’s also a really dope mythic skin for the support character, Kiriko, that players can get their hands on.

SHOULD I PLAY OVERWATCH 2 PVE MODE? Play it if you really like Overwatch 2. After a few years of waiting, Overwatch 2’s PvE mode is finally here and it’s probably one of the most disappointing events since the launch of the game itself. It’s not completely terrible or unplayable, it’s just okay. The campaign introduces three short story missions, as well as some challenges that provide loot and experience, but that’s about it. This lack of content, especially after waiting for what feels like a century, was very dissatisfying—and it all ended on a cliffhanger too. How infuriating!

Overwatch 2 has just announced that its Season 7: Rise of Darkness will start on Oct. 10, and it features, among other things, a badass Lilith skin. The announcement came from Twitter, where the official Overwatch account posted a video showing off the Blizzard World map, updated to fit its annual Halloween PvE event, Junkenstein's Revenge.
