THE MAIDBOTS | VOICED BY WONDERFUL ANIME DUB, TV AND GAME PROFESSIONALS:
The heart and soul of the game, once you complete the prologue/tutorial, you reach the Sky Frigate Auriga, where you meet Zero, your first Maid, she will show you the ropes and then you'll be able to explore the city, destroy enemy robots and collect their resources.
Back at the Auriga you will get them to the Wagie Cagie shop, where Wagie(the store clerk) will build them for you.
All Maidbots are voiced by incredible and noteworthy VAs, some of which have roles in very popular official Anime dubs, videogames and TV/Film. You can learn more about them here: https://maidbot.carrd.co/
The Maidbots have very diverse skill kits, from healers, to tanks, area of effect, dasher and more, you get to combine their skills with several buffs you find in game for a more powerful build.

STORY:
8 years have passed after Arris Fern's bloodthirsty revenge, as consequence of her actions, a bio-mechanical organism known as the Biokernel begins to devastate the planet, the story follows Arris' story trying to fix things as she avoids falling for her old habits, this time in the receiving end of vengeance.
Arris then finds Hex Reader, a former enemy who's now on a very similar path, they join forces to try and stop the bloodshed and solve a crime.
Playing Vindictive Drive 1 is not required to understand the plot.

I am very late on the news but this game has no press so here it is! As the developer has made clear he has no marketing skill whatsoever, feel free to share his Twitter post to help.

You wake up from an edgy nightmare and you are part of a huge ship's crew
You talk to Hex, the leader, and you have the option to either go outside with your Maidbot or play the story
The story has a comic book style and small playable sections, all seems skippable
The point of the game is to go outside and kill stuff, unlock new areas, get new Maidbots, repeat
My only complaint is the last one, Vitakrosis, is extremely hard to get.

Collecting Maidbots is the best part of the game, the stealth parts need work.
Gameplay:
The prologue introduces you to the story and basic stealth moves, it feels like a small chore to get to the actual game, the city exploration and maidbots, big bosses and epic music.
