I am very late on the news but this game has no press so here it is! As the developer has made clear he has no marketing skill whatsoever, feel free to share his Twitter post to help. "The Maidbot Game"
Vindictive Drive 2:Maidbot Archive is a MechaMusume-Action game where you try to contain a machine invasion with cute Robot Maids, or Maidbots for short. It has professional anime dub and film voice talents and currently 10 characters to collect, yandere, tomboy, goth, you get the idea.
The campaign has been live for a week and has nearly reached 10% of its goal of $2500, if the base goal is achieved the game promises a total of 100 Maidbots and the second generation, based on historic battleships like Azur Lane /Kancolle.
The game has been undergoing several updates since it first came out so you can be sure there is someone there getting things done. The developer is even producing an official Manga. Rewards:
- Steam key for $4
- Exclusive Avatar for backers for $15
- Becoming a character in game for $30
- Physical illustration/interviews lorebook for $100
- Creating your own Maidbot and choosing the voice for $250
Why you should support this and how to do it even if you're broke
I've been a big shill supporter for this game since the beginning, and let me tell you, the developer has changed and is changing the game to adapt to player criticism, the game was very different when it first released, it used to be a Stealth-Thriller game with some robot maids on the side.
the consensus from most reviews was that the stealth part failed to impress and it was all more fun to play with the maids instead, which, at first, were only assistants that helped you reach your destination in the map.
Response:
- The developer reduced the stealth parts to just one minute long sections that connect between skippable story comic panels and has expressed intention to replace them with a minigame.
- Made Maidbots a priority to update and expand on, gave them professional voice acting and will release them in generations.
- Made polls for players to decide how they are developed.
- Added "Maidbot Archive" as title of the game, sealing its identity
- Has fixed bugs when pointed out
This game has very few, but very die hard fans on that you can see sharing the posts every day, but its not enough, this Studio deserves a chance, if you cannot contribute, sharing the Twitter post will make a big difference.

No that's the developer of this game, though I'm curious what the context behind this is, what ended like what?
