Yes, you should play Star Survivor. Just be prepared to lose a lot of free time to this one. TIME PLAYED It’s hard to even estimate how many hours I’ve lost in this game so far. Maybe ten? Maybe twenty? Time seems to just slip away when I start it up. I can say that I’ve had multiple successful runs through the campaign mode, have unlocked and powered up quite a few cards, and have tested out all four ship types that are currently available. I’m already eagerly awaiting the endless mode, which is not yet in the game.

Cookies Must Die reminded me of a flash game era with its artstyle, music, and animations. It's filled with over the top action scenes and silly humor. And it's not a bad thing at all! This type of setting gives the game a bit more charm in my opinon. Gameplaywise it's a super simple action game, but a bit unintuitive in the beginning. I expected lots of shooting involved in this game just from looking at the screenshots, but in reality the gameplay is mostly about meleeing the cookies by swinging to them and avoiding their gun shots. And even if you pick up a gun after you pass the beginning levels, the ammo here is very limited. So your main weapon for the base character at the very beginning will be good old knuckles.

I almost deleted this game the second I opened it because of this. ⬇️ But then I realized that maybe the dev did this on purpose because we actually got a female protagonist here. I also found an interview with the dev Christoph Minnameir on creating a female lead. It's interesting to read although I don't really like some of the interview questions. 🎬 Presentation: Brown Dust 2 is the sequel to Brave Nine that was before known as BrownDust at least that's what I think? So I joined this game with the release of the PC and found it (tldr) to be a pretty pleasant experience and hence downloaded the mobile client as well. 📖 Storyline: 🎵 Sound: The story I won't comment much on it since I haven't really dived too deep yet, but one thing it's good at is really making it feel like an actual fantasy anime. The stellar voice acting (fully voice acted) really helps too. As I delve further into this review you'll understand why I think the story not only benefits from it's writing but equally from it's world. You start off with a classic join the adventure guild trope story. Which tbh I wasn't enticed by, but then after completing the small prologue I was put into the story of "traveling girl" as you'll see in the pics. Not sure if it's because I got her as a unit or it just supposed to be like this, but her story so far is very immersive with it's town, and characters you're introduced too and her own little secret. Sure there's good writing but there's also the fact that the world around you is so beautiful like something from the Octopath series. Music is amazing as well! Also, takes you back to traditional final fantasy RPGs, and not to mention the day, and night function just adds up to the rpg experience. Though having played the reverse 1999 cbt I wouldn't say it's on the same level story wise.

Just Shapes and Beats (JSAB) is an amazing game for people of all ages. This game has an amazing story and an incredible soundtrack. I personally loved the way they gradually made the levels harder and the boss levels actually hard. I have collected soo many beatpoints because it is really satisfying from a completion point of view. I definitly would recommend this game to all rhythm game lovers and I totally think that the game is worth its $23CAD price!
