Resident Evil 4 Global

Resident Evil 4 is a game I’d recommend to absolutely anyone. It’s a masterpiece of the survival horror genre, with smooth, satisfying combat and some fantastically spooky set pieces. The original was already a stone-cold classic, but the 2023 remake refined its graphics and gameplay mechanics, making the game feel better than ever. It’s something that everyone should play at least once, but if you have literally any other options, you probably shouldn’t play it on mobile.

After Resident Evil 2 and 3 were remade, the next logical target (aside from Code Veronica) was a Resident Evil 4 remake. I was one of the naysayers back then saying that Resident Evil 4, with its still decent 3D graphics, doesn’t need a remake yet. Boy I was wrong. This first impression is all about me eating my words and playing myself, because let me tell you, Resident Evil 4 Remake (or just Resident Evil 4

I'd say that Resident Evil 4 on mobile is an impressive feat, and I think if you can play it with a Bluetooth controller, you will have a better experience. I don't like the UI emulated controller button scheme that's plastered on the screen. It's ugly and obscures the gameplay a lot. The controls will disappear after the screen not being touched so you can enjoy the cinematics without a UI button layout all over the place. However if you don't touch the screen regularly, the iPhone will end up going into standby and then to the lock screen. So the phone doesn't consider this game as an actual game... Since it keeps locking the screen. You will have to turn off that feature on your phone if you want to play this game. Regardless of those annoying features, the game is good. If you can get around it with a Bluetooth controller, it will be much better. I gave this version of the game a 7/10 because as good as the game is, and how much fun I know it can be. The control scheme that the game provides will hinder your enjoyment of the game, and will cause plenty of aggravation. Get a Bluetooth controller for this to save a lot of hassle.

As expected , the demo for Capcom's upcoming Resident Evil 4 remake is available now across PlayStation 5 and PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (via Steam). Known as the Chainsaw demo, it all kicks off near the beginning of Resident Evil 4, when Leon enters the game's mysterious village. And yes, there will be a chainsaw involved. In a rather bold move, Capcom has stated there will be no time limit on this demo and you can play it as many times as you like.

Resident Evil 4: Separate Ways launches on September 21 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S|X, and PC.
