Capcom announced that the Resident Evil 4 Remake will launch on December 20th worldwide. The game first launched on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam earlier this year, with its expansion "Resident Evil 4 Separate Ways" arriving on the same platforms. It is set to be released on iPhone 15 Pro, iPad (M1 and later), and macOS (M1 and later) with cross progression capabilities as a universal purchase.

As expected , the demo for Capcom's upcoming Resident Evil 4 remake is available now across PlayStation 5 and PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and PC (via Steam). Known as the Chainsaw demo, it all kicks off near the beginning of Resident Evil 4, when Leon enters the game's mysterious village. And yes, there will be a chainsaw involved. In a rather bold move, Capcom has stated there will be no time limit on this demo and you can play it as many times as you like.

The Separate Ways DLC for Resident Evil 4 Remake is available on September 21 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S|X, and PC. Resident Evil 4: Separate Ways, much like the original game's similarly titled additional episode, is focused on Ada Wong, starring her as the playable protagonist, and telling her side of the story.

It was released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S on March 24, 2023 with support on PS VR2. Despite being released for PlayStation 4, the game wasn't release for Xbox One. A second trailer and additional gameplay were shown during a showcase in October 2022.
