Monster Hunter Now introduces the long-awaited 'Filminations in the Frost' season, offering players the chance to engage with four exciting new monsters starting December 7th, 2023. Gamers can immerse themselves in a frosty new terrain, where they will come face to face with the formidable Zinogre, Banbaro, Barioth, and Radobaan, as well as encounter two smaller creatures, Cortos and Wulg, on their thrilling exploration.

Monster Hunter Now, a free-to-play mobile game, is debuting in its global launch as the latest location-based game collaboration from the makers of Pokémon Go and Monster Hunter.

While the geolocation-based gameplay developed by Niantic is effective for letting players explore and obtain resources, combat is significantly harder to learn. Niantic and Capcom had to condense the signature encounters Monster Hunter has with these creatures, which typically last 10 minutes or longer, into battles that last only 75 seconds. Niantic has announced that its location-based RPG, Monster Hunter Now, has been downloaded 10 million times. The mobile title reached the milestone a month after its global release. To celebrate this amazing number, every player who login game, can redeem the commemorative pack. The Monster Hunter Now Halloween Pumpkin Hunt event will run for a week, from Wednesday, October 25, 9:00 AM to Tuesday, October 31, 2023, 11:59 PM local time. Niantic will begin rolling out Halloween Pumpkin Hunt quests on October 25. From Saturday, October 28, the streets will be filled with Kulu-Ya-Ku holding pumpkin-like rocks!

Niantic, the augmented-reality and location-based game developer, has partnered with Capcom, the gaming giant, to create a new mobile game based on the long-running Monster Hunter Franchise. The new title, Monster Hunter Now, features third-person gameplay, and players are required to travel to real-world locations to hunt down monsters. Unlike Niantic’s previous AR games, the camera perspective is in third person, similar to the core series entries. Capcom commented that the game aims to blend the appeal of the Monster Hunter series with Niantic's development technology, and features that allow players to team up with others for hunts or hunt monsters encountered while the app was closed later in their spare time.
