Play Monster Hunter on mobile in this Pokémon Go clone - Monster Hunter Now Quick First Impressions

SHOULD I PLAY MONSTER HUNTER NOW? Skip it unless you’re really itching for a Pokémon Go alternative. Monster Hunter Now is the latest Pokémon Go clone from Niantic, and while it’s entertaining enough, it doesn’t capture the qualities that make Monster Hunter great. There are plenty of familiar monsters to fight, like Pukei-Pukei and Barroth, but the battles aren’t much more than a series of button taps. I love the idea of

Monster Hunter Now - Go OUT Into The WORLD, And Hunt MONSTERS!

Monster Hunter Now is currently in soft launch and is available now in these countries: Canada, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Sweden. The game will be available globally on September 14th. But if you cannot wait to play the game right now. You will have to play it with a VPN if you are not in the available soft launch countries. Surprisingly there is a little bit of a story in this game, from what I could piece together, the monsters are coming through to our world and we the players have been recruited to become monster hunters in order to help take down all the creatures that are running lose in the world. It's an interesting premise and it's a good way to give a reason as to why we are chasing down monsters from the games in the real world. As for the gameplay itself, just like with pokemon go and other games of the sort, you have to actually go outside and find all the monsters.

Monster Hunter Now Addiction

If you loved Niantic's previous games like Ingress & Pokemon GO, you'll surely love this. You'll love it even more if you're a fan of the Monster Hunter franchise. I'm not much of a console gamer, but this title was one of the few that really got my attention when it was first released so when it got ported for the PC, I of course got it. Sadly, my PC days are behind me now (mainly because of age and work) but I still play using my cellphone. So, I just had to play this too. Boy am I hooked !!! I now find myself walking around our village again much like when I played both Ingress and Pokemon GO. I'm also now thinking of playing this game during bike rides so I can explore and get more materials.

I know many players would like to play this game~

It has similarities with POKEMON GO! The idea that you can play or explore the real world is really great, especially when the graphics it provides are realistic, who wouldn't be amazed, it's like seeing dragons and other strange creatures in real life, right? I really find this game exciting. It's a type of game that I think most people will like. I will definitely try/play it.

What is Monster Hunter NOW? [60-Sec. Review]

Ever wanted to play Monster Hunter on the go? Well, now you can! Monster Hunter Now is a portable reimagining of the classic monster slaying series made for mobile phones. As a collaborative project between Capcom and Niantic, Now aims to deliver a faithful recreation of the monster hunting experience that lets you play on the go. Although the HP system can be frustrating and slow at times, the game is much more engaging than the early version of Pokemon GO.

Monster Hunter Is Now On Mobile

The game mechanics is mixed between Pokemon Go and Monster Hunter. The game can be played both Portrait and Landscape which is great. The only downside is the FPS cap as I can't seem to increase the FPS limit and I'm getting random FPS. So far so Good. The only downside is when your healtg reach 29% below, you are unable to hunt large monster as the game needs you to have a health of 30% above. If you are a fan of Pokemom Go and Monster Hunter, this game is for you.

Monster Hunter NOW: Fun while Touching Grass [5-Min. Review]

When you think of AR that you can play on the fly, games like Pokemon Go probably come first to mind. A series like Monster Hunter seems unfeasible on a mobile AR platform. However, the wizards at Capcom and Niantic have pulled just THAT off, with the new Monster Hunter Now. Monster Hunter Now brings the monster slaying, resource hunting, and gear upgrading experience onto a mobile device that you can take anywhere and play anytime.

I absolutely like and enjoy games like this~

The graphics and sound in Monster Hunter Now are quite impressive, and the game is well-designed and easy to navigate. The game also has a multiplayer mode, so you can team up with friends to take on larger monsters. The game provides a good mobile adaptation of the series, although some players might be put off by its reliance on in-app purchases and grinding.

Monster Hunter Now is a free-to-play AR mobile game that blends the fantastical world of the Monster Hunter franchise with augmented reality (AR) technology, creating a unique gameplay experience where players hunt monsters and explore their surroundings in the real world. 🟩Pros +Active and Passive Play (even when the app is closed) +AR integration and uses real world locations +The simplified interactive combat that still feels like Monster Hunter in some respects

Monster Hunter Game That Won't Disappoint You

The game plays perfectly fine. Too bad landscape mode only works during hunt. However, trying to force the game to play on landscape seems to work with to problems, as if it was built to have landscape mode but somehow got disabled. The downside of the game are the following: -No FPS option and the game randomly gives me FPS capped and somehow drops. -Some crafting requirements parts from small monster which takes time before they spawn.

My experience

(Gameplay)  from my perspective the game is pretty fun or absolutely fun, it's not different from Pokemon go since you need to walk for gameplay. (Graphics) the graphics is, you know from every previous monster hunter mobile such as MHX, mhStories(the gacha one), or the actual monster hunter stories, potato friendly. (Live service) there nothing much for live service or in game purchases, like you buy some potion yada yada yada, nothing special or "p2w"  (it's party game not pvp so don't bother much).

A few flaws but still a great game.

After playing it since its release, it's time for a review. At first, the game didn't leave a good impression because we started stuck with a Sword and Shield at the beginning until we hit HR 15 (Our level), and the rest at Chapter 2 completion. Luckily, I ended up using the sword and shield as my main. 📖 Storyline: The story is a basic visual novel style. It's decent but not enough to keep players invested too much in it.
A few flaws but still a great game.
