The indie game Arctic Eggs, which first released on the independent game platform itch.io, has recently been added to Steam and will be launching a full version. Arctic Eggs was originally a game jam entry on itch.io. According to the creator, it is "a sci-fi cooking game where you take up the role of a Poultry Peddler stuck in Antarctica and longing for a way out. Sell your illegal eggs to those who look hungry." The game adopts a retro visual style reminiscent of old-fashioned television sets, presenting what appears to be serious, documentary-style footage, when in fact, we are engaged in the illicit dealings of trading fried eggs.
