Immortals of Aveum™

This year has been full of new experiences for me. I’ve always been more into competitive multiplayer games, so getting to play a lot of unique and unusual single-player titles has really changed my perspective and made me want to try out a ton more games. If you’d asked me at the start of 2023, I never would have guessed that I’d play some of these games I’m about to talk about, let alone rate them as the best of the year. I’m grateful to have experienced the spectacle offered by these excellent titles. Here are the ten best games I played in 2023.

SHOULD I PLAY IMMORTALS OF AVEUM? Play it. Immortals of Aveum is a beautiful sci-fi fantasy first-person shooter that features RPG elements in the form of exploration, loot-hunting, and equipment leveling. It’s also boosted by a well-written, voice-backed narrative full of emotion. Despite a few frustrating technical issues and some rushed pacing, Immortals of Aveum is one game that I’d recommend everyone should try.
