Two years ago, at the Netmarble Together with Press event, Netmarble, developer of Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds and Seven Deadly Sins Origin, revealed plans to develop an open world RPG using the Game of Thrones IP, in partnership with HBO Studios. However, not much information was available currently except a teaser. It appears that after the initial announcement two years ago, Netmarble is progressing with the development of their open-world RPG based on the Game of Thrones IP, which indicates that they are moving into a more active phase of development.
