Early Game Resin Consumption
2K View2021-11-04Are you new to the world of Genshin Impact? If yes, I have a few tips for you!
As you start playing the game, you will do several quests to progress the game. You'll earn Adventure Rank EXP, Mora, and other useful items that you can use in the game. It is important to do your initial quests in order to unlock more features in the game.
One of the effective ways to get more Adventure Rank EXP (AR) is to consume your Original Resins. What are Original Resins? Original Resins are consumables in-game that will reward you with Mora, Adventurer's Experience, Weapon Materials, Talent Materials, Ascension Materials and, Artifacts. You can find your current Original Resins on the Map Interface. The question is, where to use Original Resins first?
As you start the game, you will have 160 Original Resins to use that replenish over time. It is important to consume all of the Original Resins since they will be capped to 160. If your Original Resins reached 160, you will not gain more than 160. If you reach Adventure Rank Lv8, Ley Line Outcrop: Blossom of Revelation will be unlocked.
Where to find the Blossom of Revelations? Look for an icon on your map (see picture below for reference). Go to the location, and Interact with it. Be mindful that enemies will spawn as you interact with the Ley Line Outcrop, so be prepared. Once you cleared the enemies that spawned, interact again with the Outcrop and claim your rewards in exchange for your Resins.
You will receive Adventurer's Experience and Wanderer's Advice during your starting levels. But as you reach Adventure Rank Lv35 (AR35), you will unlock a higher rank Item.
You can use these items to level up your favorite characters. Also, be mindful of leveling up your characters because it will cost you Mora as well.

1. Take advantage of the small map - At the start or as you are still on the beginning part, the places you can go will be limited. Now don't take it as something bad because it matters at the very moment since your stamina is not even that high to do certain travel and stunts atm. As you go high up, you will notice most of the things you will do requires you huge amount of stamina especially the Liyue part. Be prepared!
