Low AR (Single digit AR level)
1. Take advantage of the small map - At the start or as you are still on the beginning part, the places you can go will be limited. Now don't take it as something bad because it matters at the very moment since your stamina is not even that high to do certain travel and stunts atm. As you go high up, you will notice most of the things you will do requires you huge amount of stamina especially the Liyue part. Be prepared!
2. Don't rush - This is the best advice I can give for starters. Just because your friend is in high AR does not mean you need to catch up and trust me it will come to a point of regret. Genshin for me personally speaking isnt something that you need to finish and level up fast. I know not all will agree but what I am after the most here is the co-op experience.
3. Be resourceful. For a day you can go for more than just farming a specific material. It be a waste of time if you do it and you do it slowly.
Estimated AR 10-44 (Double digit AR)
1. Make every resin count. Use your refill wisely for certain occasion like serious grinding whole day, building a character, etc
2. Leylines are great boosters for XP if you dont have anything to spend with your resins.
3. This part is where you start to do research. The more sources and opinions you have, the better. Whether is doing a character build, or picking the best weapon for a character, feel free to hear out other people's thoughts or maybe you can experiment yourself on your free time.
High AR (45 and above)
1. Form a pattern and familiarize it. Example: Levels > Artifacts > Talent
2. For a faster progress, focus on just one character. Build it properly, then if you are done that will be the time you can move on to next then probably come back lets say if there are new things like new artifacts that may improve your character or even weapons.
3. TEAPOT! Yes, enjoy your time inside the teapot as it can help you earn primogems and other things as well.

My advice for elden ring is plan your build accordingly dont pick points out of random or youll screw yourself over again and again
So the first stat you need to level up is VIGOR, LEVEL UP VIGOR to at least 30, vigor is the health stat i is essential to any build recommended builds but if youre going to be one shot build vigor may not be very good, but even still most builds need vigor especially builds like dex and strenght
