League of Ninja: Moba Battle Is A Blatant Naruto Rip-Off Which I Just Can't Take Seriously

When it comes to rip-offs, they won't come as blatant as League of Ninja: Moba Battle. The name itself is a blatant rip-off of League of Legends. But that's not all, because the playable characters really look like Naruto characters, from Naruto to Kakashi to the Third Hokage to Karin and more. Judging from the lack of Naruto in the name, I doubt they're licensed by Shueisha, which holds the rights to Naruto, at all!

The character select screen is also quite dubious, as each character looks like the anime version of the Naruto characters. And right off the bat, I found myself not able to take the game seriously at all. It also claims to be the best anime Moba 5v5, which just makes me raise an eyebrow.

As for the gameplay, it's ok. Basically a side-scrolling MOBA where one team aims to take over the other team's base. There are still creeps that are probably even more predictable than LOL's or DOTA's. The controls are simple enough to understand though, which would be a plus for me.

As for the special moves, they're obviously the special moves from the Naruto manga and anime. Don't get me wrong, they actually look OK given the graphics. But then again, them being blatant rip-offs just made me snicker every time I see them. They are still useful in games though, and depending on each hero, can be quite effective given the situation.

And there's the graphics. Well, they're quite simple to be honest. But yeah, they don't help at all. The character select artwork looked so professionally done... as if they were copied from another franchise whose name they are not using in the title. Now, compare that to the game sprites and there is quite a huge difference in quality. Gee... I wonder why?
