I played the game a few years ago via PS3, and was surprised it finally ported to mobile. As soon as I saw it, I knew I just had to try it out.
As for the gameplay, it's pretty much how I remembered it. I played the game before, and every time I see Slenderman's silhouette in the distance, I still panic. Players still have to find a certain number of objects while of course, avoiding the titular antagonist, Slenderman, as he stalks players across abandoned homes, mines, and other locations, all of which made particularly creepy by the game's dark visuals.
The visuals are pretty creepy, as the players try and avoid Slenderman. The graphics, while dated compared to today's standards, still give us that creepy vibe, so it still quite holds up.
Player movement can be slow, and frustrating. Unfortunately, the slow movement can also increase the fear factor, as sometimes, the game makes players just want to run as fast as they can, away from one of gaming's most iconic horror monsters.
As for the audio... it's creepy as hell. Sometimes, you hear whispers, and the music can increase the fear factor.
Overall, the game is great. A true horror game classic ported for mobile. I'm still screaming NOPE whenever something creepy happens, or I get spooked/ And this is what the game is all about... the scares.
