Moth Lake: A Horror Story is pretty creepy, like SUPER CREEPY! This game took me by surprise, I didn't think a game on mobile could be so creepy and scary, but this one does it pretty well
Gameplay wise you are being pursued by some tree demon, and it's trying to eat you, you must also search for your dog, who has decided to run away outside and while you are doing this, you are being chased by the tree demon. You can pick up items and also drag items to reveal hidden spots.
You can crouch to hide in the tall grass, or behind logs. And run from the bad things chasing you. Visually this game is pixel art and while it looks quite simple, it still manages to get the creepiness across. The mood is dark and eerie and sets the tone really well.
I also have to give a special shout out to the soundtrack. The music is fabulous. it really helps amplify the feeling of being chased and adds an extra level of tension the game. Very well done.
Overall I'd say that you have to play this game if you love horror games. It's great. I had so much fun with it. While it's not as scary as other games I've played on PC, for a mobile port this is pretty good. This game is also available on Steam too if you're interested.

When I tried Moth Lake: Horror Story, I didn't think a horror game on mobile could actually be scary, but oh boy was I wrong. I mean, it's not terrifying, but the level of creepiness in this game is there.
The poor kid is being terrorized by some tree creature? And it wants to kill him. Meanwhile the kid is chasing after his dog at the same time, while trying not to die from this creepy tree man. The game has multiple choice sections and an amazingly creepy soundtrack. I think this game is amazing and you should play it. It's also available on Steam too.

Moth Lake proved to me that horror can work just as well on mobile platforms as it does on bigger screens, even if it has a few issues that could be improved. In this game, I took on the role of a group of teenagers living in a creepy small town. They love sneaking out at night, even though it often leads to them seeing terrifying otherworldly sights.
Having grown up in a small town myself, playing Moth Lake woke up memories of sneaking out late at night during sleepovers with my friends. We would walk the deserted streets at well after midnight, wander over the lake or the cemetery, and let our imaginations run wild with spooky stuff.

Gives me chills and a thrilling game experience
If you're looking for a horror game with a thrilling atmosphere, good story and music, then this game is for you. One thing that I like about this game is that it offers different kinds of stories for you to explore and it also has immersive gameplay wherein you can outrun and hide from the monster and you can test your problem-solving skills with its challenging puzzles.
