Like most auto-battle games, Super Auto Pets' gameplay is quite simple to do and easy to understand. Players build a team of animals, upgrade them if they have the necessary upgrades, and battle other players. Nice and simple.
However, I felt that the game was a bit too simple for my taste, but it's not bad overall. Planning out your team, who goes first, which ones to give an upgrade or which upgrade to give is where most of the strategy happens. Oh, and bomb hedgehogs are the best!
That being said, I did enjoy the squad building element of the game, but got bored with the auto battle portion. It's mostly PVP, so expect a ton of competitive builds to go up against your own squad. There are some very competitive combos to watch out for, so planning is indeed very important. Which animal comes after which is often the key to victory. That being said, hedgehogs are love.
Not a bad game overall. The graphics and visuals look cute enough, and quite a great way to pass the time.
