Verdict (★★★★☆☆☆☆☆☆)
As a fan of the Soul Land franchise, I’d say that Soul Land: Advent of the Gods didn’t hit the nail at all. Despite their fantastic gacha rates, nothing else seems to be able to retain my attention (especially the terrible translations). It was quite a turn off really.
Unless you’re new to the Soul Land universe or are simply playing it as a standalone game, I’d recommend you to go for something more exciting.

Soul Knight.
A classic game I have played with my cousin and friends.
I don't really know much about the lore and community of this game since I haven't played it since 2021 so I'll just talk about my experience of playing this game.
1. Controls
The controls in the game is simple, not too complex which is good for everyone.
2. Graphics
With my eyes of an artist, I'd say the graphics is decent for a pixel art style of sorts.

If you had no way to perceive this game besides the screenshots provided, then you might feel the way they depict the game overall is as a colorful adventure game, possibly on the same level as a game like Journey, this is far from the truth.
SOULS is just another clone of the already oversaturated Gacha auto-battler genre the like of which games like

As I wrap up work for the holidays, I'd have to say it sure is delightful to kick back and relax.
There's nothing like taking the time to catch up on some good ol' series and novels (Of course, the little kitty 🐈⬛ who's with me today! Why don't you say hi to everyone, Rico?).
Being a massive fan of the 斗罗大陆 (Soul Land) animation series and novel, it goes without saying that I'd be more willing to get my hands on all IP adaptations available whenever possible.
