Surprising, A very creative game. I played 3 stages which took me 1.5 hours. Overall, Loop Knight is a game with innovations and some defects.
It spent 15 minutes to truly understand how to play it. I was very confused at the beginning. Now, let me summarize the core gameplay, I think it’s more appropriate to call it a game-level designer simulator. You need to arrange monster outposts and the building which can give your hero buff to make your hero become strong and finally defeat the final boss.
So it’s not a card game or idle game, it’s more like a strategy game to me.

Well, let’s talk about the advantages. The idea was cool. Through your level design, let your hero gradually become stronger. It needs some technique to keep the balance. If you don't put enough obstacles, your hero can't grow to an appropriate level which can defeat the boss within a limited number of loops. On the one hand, if the level is too difficult, and your hero's recovery can't keep up with the HP loss of your battle, your hero is likely to die halfway. So it's a game that tests strategy.
Although I like this concept very much, the deficiency of the game is still obvious, that is, the tempo is relatively slow. Maybe the developers want us to plan the level carefully so they give us more time. But this makes the process of cultivating is monotonous and boring. And the game lacks randomness. I suggest adding some buildings that bring random events can greatly enhance the fun of the game. Another is that the effect of many cards is too small, such as Rock of life and Spring of life. One Rock of life only provides + 3 HP max. WTF, I need to build almost 50 of those things to get 150 more HP. Are you kidding me? It's really tired and unnecessary.

I don't recommend for ordinary players to try. I pretty like this concept because I'm a strategy player, but this game may be boring for most players. But I still gave 4 stars because of the innovation and it's a early access. And I saw a lot of potentials, otherwise, I wouldn't write so much.

Dude must have lived in a cocoon if he hadn't heard about Loop Hero. They stole everything from it and he is calling this "innovative". Mhm, ok.

Looper Tactics (Demo Review)
Looper Tactics (Demo Reviewed) Developer: 墨香如故 Publisher: 2P Games Release Date: TBD Price: TBD Looper Tactics is a hybrid of board-based traversal and card battlers. Most notably, it's the same type of experience as Hearthstone, except the limited and somewhat repetitive exploration and story-based dialog that feels awkward. I enjoy card games because they are often strategic and difficult, but this one felt a little too difficult and overwhelming with some of the boss fights in which they were all capable of wiping your board with their special passives that damage or kill your units when played or when they make a move.

Loop Dungeon Idle RPG First Impressions (Everything is automated!)
MY OVERALL SCORE 5/10 The graphics are beautiful and colorful. The game just lacks depth. Its endless dungeon runs that give you no sense of progression. Everything in the game can be automated. The game is a 24/7 grind so when you log off the game still plays itself. You really have no reason to even log back in because the game even can auto distribute the skill points for characters when they level up. You also can choose which paths you want to the game to pick when a pick a path room pops up.

Loop is a wonderful puzzle game that looks like Sky: Children of the Light and reminds me a little bit of Monument Valley. If you sorely enjoy puzzle games like me, it’s an absolute must-try. The game’s complex, but not too challenging. Oh, and the visuals are out of this world too. When it comes to surprises, I’m always hoping to find one. Loop was a surprisingly great game because its looks can be a little deceiving at first. From the game preview alone, I expected
