This is my nineth post in the "BFB - Budget Friendly Beasts" series. I’m highlighting cards that deliver P2W-tier performance for a fraction of the cost.

In this post, we’ll be taking a look at Alexis Mac Allister given out during the "National Teams Campaign" [12/03/26 - 02/04/2026]. He is an exceptionally well-rounded CMF who functions as both the architect and the engine in the middle of the pitch, offering elite utility for F2P players.

THE GOOD:

Technical Ball Control: With ball-playing stats sitting comfortably between 87 and 88, he can carry the ball smoothly through pressure immediately after winning possession.
Elite Distribution: Boasting 91 Low Pass and 87 Lofted Pass, his distribution is precise. When combined with the Visionary Pass skill, he becomes a primary weapon for initiating rapid counters.
Defensive Tenacity: While his defensive stats (80-85 range) aren't top-tier, his 90 Aggression transforms him into a relentless pitbull, constantly pressing and disrupting the opponent's rhythm.
Athletic Profile: His 87 Speed and 89 Acceleration ensure he isn't bypassed by pacey meta AMF's, allowing him to recover and maintain his defensive positioning.
Distance Threat: A 90 Kicking Power means any space left open outside the box is an invitation for a long-range screamer.

THE BAD:

Physical Presence: His lack of height and moderate physical contact make him less effective in raw aerial and ground duels compared to powerhouse DMFs and CMFs.
Playstyle Limitations: As an Orchestrator, he can occasionally feel stagnant. His 80 Offensive Awareness helps, but he won't make the same frequent box-to-box runs as more aggressive profiles like Kante, Edgar Davids, etc.
Finishing Inconsistency: A 74 Finishing stat makes his goal-scoring a gamble; he is more of a carrier than a finisher.
Niche Utility: Unless you value elite passing above all else, some might find him a "luxury" pick rather than an absolute necessity.
