Football Manager 2022 is a very complete game, vast and now very mature. It takes care of all aspects of the game of football, from tactics to the market, up to communication and data analysis, managing to provide the player with many advanced tools to achieve his goals. Do not expect news or great revolutions, you will not find them in this edition. What you find is, however, a very solid title, able to offer a level of challenge that is always compelling and a lot of freedom of action for the most creative. And yes, it is always the usual black hole that dematerializes the free time of all football fans.

Easy to play, sometimes frustrating when you think you have what it takes to beat an opponent and you lose. 3D has made coming to the games a lot more worthwhile. Upgrading players is a little bit more money-based than I would like, but the youth academy and ways to earn tokens are quite creative and fun. I would like to see more variety in 3D gameplay, since it can get quite predictable after watching 5 matches. Counter attacks usually end the same way, every free kick being direct, rebounds being very rare, and yellow cards leading to corners feel a bit strange.
