I really wanted to like this, I have been so excited for this, but after playing I was very much disappointed and let down. Despite having a very beautiful, and I mean gorgeous art, there was nothing else to keep me to this game. I enjoy turn based games, but this felt even less than that. The story for me, wasn't appealing, didn't care for it. People were telling play the first couple hours, it'll get better, and I did, and for me it didn't get better. I was dreading every conversation, story, and combat I was in. Though, despite me not enjoying this, I do see why it's appealing to people, and why people enjoy it, but it just wasn't for me.

Honestly, such a good entry to the series. I've heard many people say that it wasn't as good as the original, but honestly I like the fact that it's nota copy paste of the original. This game took risks and it paid off in my opinion. From the sound design, to the levels of the hotel, down to the little details that you may miss the first few playthroughs. Top to bottom, this game is beautiful and fun. I could go on and on about anything in this game and I could be super passionate about it. If you haven't played this masterpiece yet, go play it right now. It's fun, it's relatively easy, and it's definitely worth your time.
