According to Sensor Tower’s today’s report, Tencent’s mobile game Honor of Kings climbed one rank to the first place on the list of global top mobile game revenues in February, with 225 million USD. In January, Honor of Kings ranked the second.
Also on the list were PUBG Mobile from Tencent and Genshin Impact from miHoYo, which ranked the second and third respectively. The fourth place and fifth place were Candy Crush Saga from King and Roblox from Roblox Corporation.
Honor of Kings saw 95.2% of its February’s revenue come from the Chinese iOS platform, while its revenue from the overseas Google Play platform and iOS devices accounted for 4.8%. The data doesn’t’ include third-party Android devices’ performance.
The runner-up PUBG Mobile’ revenue was 205 million USD, and 64.2% of its revenue comes from Game for Peace, the Chinese version of PUBG Mobile. The corresponding revenue from the US market accounted for 7.7%.
In February, the worldwide mobile game players spent 6.6 billion USD on their games, which marked a 7.6% of decrease year-on-year. The US market secured 1.9 billion USD, accounting for 28.6 of the revenues worldwide while Japan ranked the second with 18.8% and Chinese iOS market ranked the third with 17%.
