Role-playing Games That Are NOT Auto-play

• Albion Online ⎮ @jake
If you ask me to recommend a MMORPG on mobile that has an original flavor, I just can't say one right away. But in retrospect, Albion Online definitely deserves to be there.
TapTap
That was the first time I played this game (sorry, I haven't played the PC version...)
Seriously, I was shocked to find that Albion Online mobile is exactly the same as the PC version, with the UI, layout, settings, graphics, it's kinda ridiculous!
The game has everything you'd expect from a traditional MMORPG, despite what I thought were a few problems at the time. Fantasy world, life skills, social interaction, open-world exploration, leveling, dungeons. Most importantly, there's no auto-pathfinder or auto-battle. You can say I don't like it on the phone because it's not automated, but that's what Albion's about, the classic MMORPG features.
TapTap
Many players have discussed adding auto-loot and auto-run functions to Albion Reddit and the official forum. But many players don't want automation.
Once, I gave it 3 out of 5 because there was no automation, but now, the developer has meticulously kept the original MMORPG era alive. Albion doesn't have the graphics quality of Final Fantasy XIV, nor the splashy skills and special effects of Lost Ark.
But, its original flavor and easy-to-play features make it appealing and enjoyable.

•DOFUS Touch ⎮ @Happybunny
Honestly, I’ve never heard of DOFUS, and I immediately said no to DOFUS Touch when I opened the game: dated UI, slightly annoying registration process - looks like another badly ported mobile game to me.
TapTap
Nevertheless, I continued with the game. Why? Because its art style looks amazing, and I have a soft spot for beautiful things. (“It is only shallow people who do not judge by appearances.”)
“All I need is a little patience,” I said to myself.
And it turns out that DOFUS Touch is actually good.
TapTap
<What’s Good>
- Freedom to explore the land
The game has a beautiful cartoonish art style. You can walk around different areas to enjoy its stunning sceneries while taking tasks.
- Well-written dialogues
Dialogues with NPC are fun and it makes completing quests less boring.
- Turn-based combat without auto-play
DOFUS Touch has a tactical turn-based combat system with grid-based movement. Players have limited Movement Points and Action Points in combat. In addition, each turn has about 30 seconds for players to perform actions. So, it is essential to think strategically and act in time.
Whether you like to level up your gears through combat or simply craft things, you can decide your way to enjoy the game.
<What’s Bad>
- The UI needs to be optimized
The UI of the game is really a drawback. Everything is so small and not very mobile-friendly.
- Kinda buggy
Sometimes my character just froze there and I have to force quit to start the game again.
DOFUS Touch is obviously not the equal of the action-packed MMORPG with ultra graphics created these days, where you can even decide how your eyebrow looks. However, its style reminds me of some other MMORPG I played when I was a kid, and the nostalgia makes me happy.

Albion online do got an auto run with the custom button,been out for quite a while now. you can set 4 custom command for that button. It's just an mmo game where you dicide which RPG you want,like being a trader,farmer,gatherer,crafter etc. make you own story or just kill mobs and earn stuff. High risk ,high reward. Black zones are where you encounter a lot of players who's out there to kill you. Avoid places where you can die if you don't want to risk it. Blue and yellow zones are safe. Red and BlackZones/bz are where you die and drop all items you wear and in you inventory. Do note that you won't drop items that are untradeable ( will have an icon on the top right of the item that have a cross over gold coins)

Unfortunately most of the games are auto play 😖 If you wanna play, so you must buy PC or PS... Albion amazing game, but you need a company to play or in another way that farming will kill you faster than enemies

Albion Online: Dark Souls meets Elder Scrolls!
If you like playing games that require you to grind, craft and attain skills to grow your character, then you WILL love playing Albion Online!  Albion is a very interesting game that I found while browsing through similar titles. The game takes place on an island that is full of mysterious wonders and enemies! The game itself gives off very similar vibes to Elder scrolls or dark souls in a mobile package.

A game with awesome gameplay and design is now on mobile!
An auto MMORPG game that has great graphics and you have to have a shit load of inventory space. Need a bit of a good phone on this one too though even on a mid-range phone and mid graphics this game is outstanding in graphics. Gameplay wise is well auto you can manually when you don't have anything to do and you can enjoy the cinematics and the characters. There is a timer when the dialogue is about to end with a nice touch. Great game!
