*sigh*, okay so... been playing the game for an entire year now, and my experience has been a roller coaster ever since. i put off writing a review because i did want to experience how much i would enjoy this game after a longer play time.
early game experience is phenomenal, you'll be blown away by the character design/ aesthetics, gameplay/ combat, music/ visuals, story/ lore and just about everything. genshin has so much to explore and do when you're just starting off.
mid game experience is about the same, except new things start slowing down. there aren't as many chest or quests you find yourself, however the game still as content for you nonetheless. by this time, you are probably 45-ish or more.
late game experience is where it roughens up. there is nothing left for you to do or explore. the game is in a dead state if new regions aren't being released. you have nothing but very meh events, only every once in a while, you might find the events fun or just a little bit amusing.
every day you will log in, do your dailies (commisions, use your resin) and log off. if spiral abyss has reset, then maybe you will try your hand at it. every day, you will be stuck in a certain domain because the rng system in this game is horrible. you WILL get burnt out easily.
this game is literally only designed for new players, the end game experience is extremely boring and tiring. i hate saying this as i love this game so much, i hate seeing hoyoverse puting such a great game to waste.
hope this helps.

The most accurate review I found here. Good job. As Man who spent 2 years on that...game I have the same exact experience. Though even if new regions came out you as a person who already on end-game experience wouldn't be even bothered to explore it. Reason is simple. Boring. Just walk through entire region to get some chests. (True intended gameplay) The Domains RNG are worst thing in entire game. I already spent...a 1 entire year farming Ei domain. Nothing. Good. You as a reader. Yes you! If you want to have literally flat-ass experience irl then in Genshin Impact you will obtain it as soon as possible.

Let me start with the good things first: The graphics are good, awesome even. Loads of characters to pull and the map is very big and definitely beautiful. It's worth exploring especially the Inazuma area. And it's a good game to play when you're a sucker for the stories it gives. Now the bad things: Quests are very repetitive. What you'd usually just do for the day is to complete the daily quests (that usually repeats the exact quest/s the next day) and some other quests to gain primogems to pull a character that you want. Sure, there are stories that would keep you entertained, but it's not like you can finish the whole story just straight up. You need to level up and ascend your characters too. So, you end up doing more quests to get stuff needed for you to do so. And that's all you're ever gonna do every time you open the game. But you'll be able to cope with it if you're patient enough.

The game was and still is fun,  I realized one thing after spending 13 hours hours in the game in just 3 days The game was built for casuals But under the limited combos I realize it depends on how you approach your enemies, each attack for each characters are for different situations, which means you can have fun fighting enemies, but one major flaw is the game getting grindy, which may become boring again, but the game play still makes it fun, especially when dodging bosses .

It's a fun game, that is until you reach the end game. Starting the game for the first time felt so magical and new. There's a lot of areas to explore, get chests, do puzzles and such. Unfortunately, once you sweep the whole land of these said chests and puzzles, there would be almost nothing left to do. As an end game player, I usually just spend 30 minutes or less per day in playing genshin. I would log on, do my commissions, spend my resin, and then log out. If you want more challenge, I guess you can sweat in the abyss which is the game's only end game content.
