Hello everyone, glad we meet again. Today we are glad to share with you what kind of gunplay you can expect from Project RushB and some nice tips about shooting skills. Our purpose is not only simply to recreate the PC shooting experience, but also to create a mobile game that is fun, deep and competitive.
Based on our experience in shooter games, we have identified the basic principles that allow us to create competitive mobile games.
TAME YOUR GUN
Recoil Control
After careful consideration and discussion, gun recoil has always remained in our vision. While all our designers have dozens of years of shooter game experience, we firmly believe that it is one of the most important parts of the shooting experience in a mobile shooter game. We hope to see players fight with their true skills.
We carefully tuned the recoil for each gun, not only to make the game more realistic but most importantly, it gives each gun its special spray patterns, as well as some challenges to learn them. In Project RushB you will have to rely on your own rather than aim assist to control the recoil.
For example, if you pursue the high damage, first-shot accuracy, and one bullet for a headshot that Hunter brings to you, then you must accept its strong recoil. The first three shots could be stable, but what comes next challenges your shooting skill.
However, spend some time feeling its spray pattern and you can even tame every bullet and control where they head to.
*tips: opening scope can reduce some recoil but slow down your movement speed at the same time
No Aim Assist
Generally speaking, it is much easier to operate on the mobile because of decreasing recoil and adding aim assist system in some mobile shooter games. However, it also deprives players of the right to prove their true strength.
Controlling your gun without aim assist is easy to learn, but hard to master. We believe that for a shooter fan, the most exciting pride and achievement is always earned by winning battles with your true skills.
SHOOT TACTICALLY
Weapons are just tools. There is no messy shooting. Life or death is decided in a flash. Think and communicate before you and your teammates take action.
Low TTK (Time To Kill)
It’s not a pure action game that gives you a lot of room to circle around with your enemies after taking shots. Constant engagement in meaningless fighting and forgetting about your mission to attack/defend your area is not what we want to see.
Each character has 100 life and 100 armor (at most). 3~4 shots are all that need to take down an enemy. Sometimes one headshot ends all. But don’t get panic, except improving your shooting skills, there are ways to predict where enemies could come out and take them before they respond.
Pre-Aiming
Pre-aiming is to place the crosshairs where you expect the enemy to appear. Get familiar with the map and predict where enemies might appear to take more frags and win more games.
Having a good habit of pre-aiming can make it easier for you to decrease your time to kill when an enemy shows up. In order to make pre-aiming work, there are spots on the map specially designed for pre-aiming and you can even try to directly shoot behind some fragile walls to kill the enemies. Explore them!
Project RushB also allows players to ‘peek’ the enemies. Peeking is always a good pre-aiming skill to better gain enemies' information, adjust your crosshairs to the right positions and shoot them without exposing the whole body out of the obstacles.
After some training, your pre-aiming will bring you to a higher level and allow for easy headshots.
No Run & Gun
We believe that run & gun itself will greatly reduce the accuracy of shooting in real life. To forbid run & gun is not only for the consideration of being realistic. But also try to avoid someone becoming a harder target by jumping and running.
We encourage accurate shooting and negate ‘run & gun’. If you are hit, you will be slowed down and become an easy target. We hope players think and act carefully before they get engaged in a certain area. It makes no sense if you simply run away and kill enemies while running after you find out that your tactics don’t work.
So keep this in mind: Shooting is more inaccurate when you are moving, try to keep stable when shooting. ( however, submachine guns and pistols has less spray distribution while moving)
With the practice of your gunplay, we hope you can get stronger and take frags with ease in Project RushB!
