Stare down turns on Red islands with confidence and courage! The Mercenary gains no Defense on Green islands, has low HP recovery, and has the only buff for Coins that resists Purify in the game. He is a jack of all trades with high resistance that fears Defense-ignoring damage, and requires a certain amount of strategy to play effectively. Your actions are also fairly predictable, so watch out for companions that will derail your plan!
