So Quantum Maki, is a mecha themed bullet-hell game. You control and switch between 3 mecha of your choices, unlike rock paper scissor, you just need to match with what the color the enemy is.
The amazing things first, which is the performance and optimization, the dirt job that often pretty neglected in game these days. The games loading screen is fast, doesn't really heat on pretty good graphics settings, however in a battle with high effects setting could lag the phone a little, depends on how much enemies and bullets on the screen. All in all a very good job for optimizing this game.
Graphics, graphics is full 3D, its pretty good not like 4 out of 5, the problems is that the face of the characters is a little too similar which doesn't really capture their personalities. Other than that there doesn't really any complain whatsoever, the mecha design is pretty striking compared to the characters, because it is pretty easy to give a sense of uniqueness into it unlike human models i guess.
Gameplay, gameplay is pretty simple but satisfying. It may reminds you why people wants to play games like vampire survivors, the gameplay is basic 2 out of 5, but the sense of accomplishment from playing it is 5 out of 5, seeing big numbers, obliterating huge waves of enemies, its like winning the odds or winning the impossible feeling that make the players to keeps playing it. The play of this games is keep shooting with basic attack while moving without stopping, using skills of each character like skills rotation, then use ultimate for boss or aoeing the mobs.
Sound is pretty good, there is opening song, the music for each scene feels right, it isn't fancy, bombastic or others ot just feels right. All the sound and music in this game is 4 out of 5.
I feel like there's a couple things that i want to mention but forgot or something, but all in all a chill game with pretty easy to go in and out if you want to try it for a while. Im pretty sure that it wont be a disappointing experience.
