First thing first i forgot to screenshot the game which is unfortunate.
The game is a bit hard to put into the genre, its like azur lane crosswave or blue oath where you move your character a bit and if you have enough range you can choose 1 from maybe 3 weapon available on the bottom right of the screen.
Now the reason i say it is hard to put is because, i did not feel the same vibe from this game with blue oath, with blue oath it felt pretty good, smooth movement even with sharp turning, attack is pretty easy to understand. while this game is always running to the enemy and shoot and repeat, the enemy is always running and you cannot flank or catch up whatsoever. In blue oath formation is important and also positioning is important, to inflict greater and more accurate attacks you need to flank the enemy sides, just like how ships attack better when their side with artillery facing the enemy.
The good thing of this game is the graphics i guess, i have played quantum maki for a while, and that game is pretty fun, it is very optimized for a bullet hell game on phone, props to the dev. But i dont really like to much the aesthetic of that game, if quantum maki had this kind of graphics of course it would be much better.
Because of the gameplay infuriates me a little i dont have much to say about the game, if you want to try it just to see what it looks like go ahead and download the game, but like i said before the gameplay is not even par with quantum maki. All in all this felt 3 out of 5.
@Kuroshio this game actually has strategy during gameplay. it's not the same azur lane. I played for a month on JP and can't remember details. every mech has certain weapon groups. you need to create team comps that maximize compatibility between the weapon groups to maximize triggering and gauge building while performing the combos. the combo timing also matters for chains which will allow more damage scaling. and using the right ultimate at the right time. lastly of course there is element triangle. what I don't like about the game is it's not very f2p friendly due to limit breaks power levels and custom weapon for SSR mecha, and it takes a lot of time to play some events. however, for spenders you can quite a lot of value using the step up gacha. the overall production quality is high but just not for me due to time and I already spending in other games.
