Have you ever watched John Wick? Have you ever seen a banana that floats in the air and can speak? This game is so cool! My Friend Pedro: Ripe for Revenge is a 2D side-scrolling shooter game conbined with parkour, bullet time and more.
Pedro is a banana, also your friend. His family has been kidnapped and needs your help. This is a very creative game where the battles are like a show. Perform your most magnificent moves during the bullet time. Sliding and rotating on different terrains, it's like you have the superpower to make your enemies move in slow motion.
The game has a large number of levels to challenge and a scoring system. Not satisfied this time? It will be more fun to try again, for a higher score. Most of the time, I feel like I'm the final boss in game, immersed in my lightning-fast violence.
The background music and sound effects are perfect. The heavy blow of the bullet and the shattering sound of passing through the glass, each sound made me immersed in the scene. The gameplay is very intuitive and fun. Even though there are some impossible moves appear, I love them.
I need more blood, more bullets, and more bananas!

After throwing a John Wick movie marathon last night, it definitely has left me high and dry. Without an outlet for the adrenaline pumping through my body, a sudden feeling of restlessness rose within me in just a mere span of a few moments.
Tamping down the thoughts that were flashing across my mind, I simply grabbed the nearest object within reach — my smartphone. Overcome by my sheer laziness, I immediately scratched off workout from the list and set off on a search for a mobile game that could allow me to veg out some of that good ol’ mindless gun-fu. Developed by DeadToast Entertainment, My Friend Pedro cast players into a hyperkinetic action-shooter that blended Deadpool and Max Payne. When it was released in 2019, the bullet-time firefights were plentiful, and it built up a bit of a cult following.

Starting with the My Friend Pedro review the gameplay is pretty damn cool. There’s a story to shape the adventure, bad guys, guns, explosives, skateboards, bikes, and more! Players control their character who is helping his friend out (who happens to be a banana) with getting his kidnapped wife and kids back from the bad guys of this story.
The gameplay is fluid and smooth and despite being a casual title, it’s actually pretty damn thrilling! Remember though, you only have three lives so it’s best to practice and gain the ability to instantly take down enemies on sight. The character is equipped with guns and they keep getting better as you play through (and you can dual wield!) and parkour your way through levels while also taking out enemies.
