Hello, Party Stars!
We have announced the 1.0 Major Version Update Roadmap today, and if you haven’t checked out the Roadmap before arriving at the Q&A, you can check it out first: 1.0 Major Version Update “Stardust Warriors” Roadmap.
Regarding the updates coming in the next few months, this is a critical period for Flash Party. Besides the “Stardust Warriors” 1.0 Major Version Update adjustments, two new Modes: Party Royale and Alter Verse Challenge, will be added.
After viewing the Update Roadmap, you must have many questions craving an answer. We have come up with some possible questions here. If you have more to add, please drop a line below, and we will get to your questions ASAP!
Q: What is “Hero Style Enhancement”?
A: In the previous updates, we have introduced the Shield-Air Dodge-Throw system and batch-improved Hero Moves’ consistency. In the “Stardust Warriors” 1.0 Major Version Update, we have kept your recent feedback in mind: We made various adjustments toward issues such as overall Hero Nerfing, lack of Combos, and lack of Hero characteristics, along with the Sticker system iteration, of course.
As of Hero Style Enhancement, Heroes will be triaged into various categories: Assaulter, Impeder, Power House, and All-rounder. Heroes of the different types will receive various Universal Mechanisms.
The Sticker mechanism is no longer a replacement Skill and has become two different sticker types: Normal Stickers and Colorful Stickers. The Normal Stickers slots unlock according to the Level, providing various ability boost for Heroes, such as Weight increase, Combo Damage increase, Movement Speed increase, Damage to Shields increase, etc. Colorful Sticker grants different passive Skills to Heroes. Heroes unlock 1 Colorful Sticker Slot at Lv.7 and 10, respectively. For now, they have 4 Passive Skills to choose from.
After the version update, the original proactive Skill Stickers will be converted to Lv.7 Colorful Stickers. The Fragments needed for synthesizing Normal Sticker can be found by opening Star Chests. Colorful Stickers can be purchased with Fragments or acquired directly from Star Chest. Your accumulated Luck Value for Heroes and Replace Skill Sticker in Star Chest will be returned to you converted into corresponding [Hero Coins] and [Sticker Fragments].
Of course, all adjustments will be added to Experimental Mode first for players to try out thoroughly. We will collect feedback and make adjustments before putting them online. We expect to release the [Hero Style Enhancement] in the live server Experimental Mode by the end of October, with newly adjusted Heroes added in a few batches. Live server content will not be affected by Experimental Mode gameplay.
Q: Will we receive compensation corresponding to Luck Value after the Star Chest adjustment?
A: Yes. After the Star Chest content adjustment, Heroes will be purchased or exchanged via Hero Shop; Sticker Replacement Skills will change into Normal and Colorful Stickers. So, the Luck Value for the original Star Chest will be converted into Hero Coins and Sticker Fragments, which can be used to exchange your desired Heroes and Stickers.
Furthermore, after the Hero Style Enhancement goes online, we will simultaneously introduce [Double Reward Event]. You can take advantage of the event to receive more Stickers faster and raise your Hero Development Level.
Q: When can I try out Hero Style Enhancement?
A: You can enter a new mode in FP at the end of the October update: the [Experimental Mode]. In the Experimental Mode, Heroes with their Style Enhancement process completed will be added in batches for you to test them out. A corresponding Feedback portal will be added simultaneously. When you finish your [Experimental Mode] tryout, please feel free to submit your suggestions via the Feedback portal.
All of your Development Data and Hero unlocks in [Experimental Mode] will not affect the Live Server content and gameplay. Suppose the testing and feedback gathering went smoothly. In that case, we expect the Beta for Hero Style Enhancement to last around two months before its official Launch.
Q: Will there be new Mode(s) and new Character(s)?
A: The Party Royale Mode may debut in November [Experimental Mode]. The PVE mode [Alter Verse Challenge] is in the preliminary stage, and we expect to introduce it by early next year.
After the Hero Shop Makeover, we will welcome our 21st Hero: Cookie&Can. The new Character coming next will be meeting you in-game in early 2023.
The above Q&A only has fundamental questions covered. In the next few days, we will also give you a more detailed introduction to all aspects of the content updates for the next six months. Please don’t miss out!
