Hello, Party Stars!
As the first issue of our “Stardust Warriors” Content Station, let’s talk about the content we are most concerned about: Hero Style Enhancement. What exactly is it?
Hero Style Enhancement includes several significant sections, and in the Content Station today, we will let you in on our current design orientation:
1.Hero Classification
2.New Sticker System
3.Adjustment to Heroes’ Fighting Styles
[Hero Classification]
As of Hero Style Enhancement, Heroes will be triaged into four different fighting styles: Assaulter, Impeder, Power House, and All-rounder. The detail of our current classification is as follows:
[Assaulter] Sivi, Kamiki Yuri, Sandy, Tina, Lan
[Impeder] Alice, Magician, Cupid, Mr.5, Chilli, Derek
[Power House] Mikko, Macalon, Tong, Thanatos
[All-rounder] Seaya, S-17, Heracles, Tarara, Sophia
Right now, all Heroes share similar features; they are not very distinctive. Therefore, working toward Hero Style Enhancement, besides triaging the Heroes into different types, we have also added an initial Universal Mechanism for each category:
[Assaulter] can cancel specific attacks after the attack lands
[Impeder] strengthens the next Grab & Throw after hitting the shield a certain number of times
[Power House] increases damage according to their current KO Score
[All-rounder] charges up a direction wheel: There are three charging gauges: Up/Mid/Down. Utilizing attacks of different directions and hitting the opponent to accumulate the charging gauge of said direction. When all three gauges are maxed out, the character's Neutral Special will be replaced by a Super Neutral Special. The charging process starts over again after releasing the attack.
After Heroes become available in the Hero Shop, their Rarity and Play Difficulty will be marked for your reference.
[New Sticker System]
Another significant change is that the original Leveling system now adopts Lv.10 as Max Level. Also, Sticker as a replacement Skill will be adjusted to Normal Stickers and Colorful Stickers.
You can find Sticker Fragments by opening Star Chests, which can be exchanged in the Sticker Shop for Normal Stickers. Heroes have 8 slots for Normal Stickers, which can enhance their fighting capacities, such as Weight increase, Combo Damage increase, Movement Speed increase, Damage to Shields increase, etc. It unlocks as their Level progresses. The same set of Normal Stickers can be applied to different Heroes.
Colorful Stickers enable new Passive Skills for Heroes and unlock 1 slot at Lv.7 and 10, respectively. Heroes will have a total of 4 Colorful Stickers. For Party Stars who already have proactive skill Stickers, you will receive Lv.7 Passive Stickers after the new Sticker System comes into effect.
Colorful Stickers can be acquired directly from Star Chest or exchanged in the Shop with Fragments. After the launch of the new Sticker System, we will offer a corresponding [Double Reward Event] so that you can develop your favorite Hero faster.
[Hero Style Enhancement]
The first batch of Heroes receiving their Hero Style Enhancement will be S-17, Tong, Sophia, Tina, Macalon, Mr.5, Heracles, and Sandy. After the Heroes finish their enhancement in late October, they will be released into the [Experimental Mode] for you to try out. We would love to hear your comment and feedback.
The Heroes that went through Style Enhancement will impress you with more fascinating Skills. Some can even form a Combination Skill—for example, Macalon’s Colorful Stickers [Earth-shaking] and [Scorching Feast]. After equipping the [Earth-shaking] Colorful Sticker, Macalon’s Down Special extends to the whole ground. While with [Scorching Feast], Macalon’s Fire-elemental attack leaves a ball of fire if it hits the ground and keeps damaging opponents in the fire. By combining the two Stickers, you can knock down the opponent and let them suffer prolonged damage in the fire.
There are many more Stickers waiting for you to discover. For example, Mr.5’s Colorful Sticker [Intelligent Terminal] allows you to manually adjust the direction of drones, granting Mr.5 plenty of advantages on the battlefield. Sophia’s [Whirlwind Strikeback] grants Reflect effect to Neutral Special, allowing it to reflect incoming Projectiles. We have showcased some Stickers in the Party News special episode. After you have tried them out this October, we would love to hear your feedback!
That's about the preliminary information we have for Hero Style Enhancement. We are working non-stop on the Universal Mechanism and Sticker System right now. Once the first batch of Heroes has received their adjustment, we will put up a [Experimental Mode] in-game and collect your feedback thoroughly before putting them online.
We will talk about the new Shop Makeover In the Content Station tomorrow. Please don’t miss out if you are interested!

Bro I agree with everything you said. Derek doesn't need a buff to his already broken back grab

“Stardust Warriors” Content Station | What is “Hero Style Enhancement”? why are all the ZONERS GETTING AN EMPOWERED GRAB? THAT MAKES ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE! THEIR GRAB RANGE IS TRASH SAVE ALICE AND MR.5 Alice should be a powerhouse not an Impeder Lan should be an Impeder Not an Assulter. you have 20 characters and you can split each category evenly yet you arent? why? The impeder Universal skill makes very Lil sense. When LITERALLY NONE of the characters mentioned in the class utilize grabs as the core of their kit. We are fundamentally changing all zoners so I'm expecting their grabs to be the best thing ever and everyone else grab to be nerfed?

Just let us roll out of shield and then zoners won’t be so strong
