Want some simple pleasures of populating cute planets with robots and exploring the cartoon galaxy? Idle Pocket Planet is the right mobile game for you.
Idle Pocket Planet is a small mobile game, where you explore different planets of the K-waii galaxy. You will have to breed local mechanoids and merger them. When they reach higher tier you will unlock the next planet and so on.
You can also buy the higher tier population for hard earned resources. But since its the only way to spend those, it seems like a good option.
You have an option to send an expedition, that will bring random rewards back. Those start with the duration of seconds and each next expedition is taking longer and longer. You can get basic resources, premium star currency and some mementos, that you can put in your cockpit. Although they dont affect the gameplay and are only of cosmetical value.
There is also a minigame where you protect the moon from asteroids and covert the deflected asteroids into money. It seems fun, and probably you can get premium star currency there as well, but I didnt managed to get much there.
As far as the Idle mechanics go this game cant be truly called idle. By default you will have 15 min offline income and you can upgrade it as you go, but it will get costly. Moreover the process of breeding and merging the population cannot be automated, so during your offline time you wont be able to get that much of those, just basic tier 1 guys.
Overall if you are just getting into the genre of idle and incremental games this game might be a good option, but you wont feel the depth of the multiplicators, prestige mechanics and all that comes with a complex idle and incremental game mechanics.
We hope that this Idle Pocket Planet review helped you to learn something new about the game or make up your mind about buying it. If you have your own thoughts on Idle Pocket Planet, let us know in the comments below.
