Played demo, then bought it on Nintendo Switch. $70+tax... Was the game worth it? For me it is, I've waited 6-8 years for a official EN translated video game release with core mechanics. And not that mobile version "Zero".
I highly recommend anyone interested to wait for a discount... Unless you're a huge fan with money to spare. Or live outside of USA, where the game is cheaper.
Gameplay: Good π what I wanted
Music: Decent πββ¬ nothing extraordinary
Story: Decent π they could've done so much more, multiple choice, and outcomes from match loss.
User Friendly: *Edit: it's there π
Encyclopedia/guide: *Edit: itsΒ thereπ
Online battles: *Edit: it's there π
Core mechanic changes: 2 big ones, 1 good, 1 sell out.

I'll keep everyone up to date with edits, or comments going into more detail.
*Edit: Just want to apologize to everyone. When I 1st played, swear it skipped menu and went straight to story. So I'm here thinking there's no menu besides pause. After turning the game back on, the true menu shows.
The 2 big changes compared to OG gameplay is the side deck. The ride deck is the pre-determined cards for riding, and has a cost. Which is a huge positive... The big downside change, is the new "Order" cards. Basically Cardfight Vanguards version of spells and traps... "Order" goes against everything that made Vanguard different from other card games, should've kept it at "unit" cards. Good thing "order" is optional
