Yes! Soccer (not football...soccer) season is upon us. The World Cup is in full swing! We’ve seen some huge upsets and remarkable wins as teams strive to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat and bring that solid gold FIFA World Cup Trophy to their homeland.
If you’re following, we’ve seen some pretty exciting matches. Of course, Lionel Messi is looking to bring Word Cup number three back to Argentina, which might be his last time to win a World Cup title. Who would’ve thought they’d lose to Saudi Arabia in their first match! Then there’s Japan beating Germany and England drawing with the US (USA USA!). This year’s cup is filled with surprises. So, what’s the best way to celebrate this testament of healthy competition and world peace as thirty-two countries face off? Video games, of course!
I couldn’t leave you hanging without some games to check out during this month of fun, so let’s start with a head-to-head match. My Colleague JB put FIFA Mobile: FIFA World Cup against eFootball 2023. FIFA Mobile is one of the best football games out. From the graphics to the user interface, it’s awesome. And with the new FIFA Mobile Manager mode, you can now focus on strategy and action. Of course, eFootball is no slouch for getting you into the action, either. Although not an entirely new offering, this new season is better than the last. Kicking and passing animations are smoother, but ultimately, both are solid games you’ll want to check out if you’re craving some quality soccer. But which one is the best? Check out this collection piece and find out.
Yeah, JB really loves his football. So much so that he did another review on a cool soccer game, Tiny Football. What’s cool about Tiny Football is that it’s fast and simple. If you just want to hop in and play a soccer game without memorizing a million button combinations to pull off some moves, you should try this one. It’s a game designed for people that don’t mind button-mashing until they score. Check this one out if you have twenty minutes to spare and want something quick and easy. But maybe you’re looking for something different? Something soccer-related but with less... running? Well, I’ve got you covered. The Real Juggle is one of those games that gets you addicted by its perceived simplicity but offers a real challenge that keeps you coming back for more. In the Real Juggle, you get to pick your avatar based on real soccer stars from around the world and help them juggle the ball. That’s right, each level has new rules and challenges you’ll need to face to get to the next stage. The difficulty is increased as environmental factors also need to be considered. There’s also a coin collection system to buy new outfits and customize the ball. Not bad for a soccer game with no actual soccer.
So get on the field and represent your favorite team in honor of World Cup season, and if you can’t make it to an actual field, You’re covered with these games!
