Melatonin (Reviewed)
Released: Dec 15th, 2022
Price: $15 USD
Melatonin is a cozy and relaxing rhythm game about dreams and reality merging together. Using really catchy songs and colorful animations cues similarly to how the game Rhythm Heaven Fever does it. It's a rather short game, but it packs a lot of punch in the many options available for you.
The gameplay can be tailored to your skill level
Is the game too difficult?
While the game can be difficult to play, the game is also very forgiving, going as far as giving you the access to visual and auditory assistance, to the ability to alter calibration to further customize the beats to your preference.
The Graphics & Music
Soothing & Attractive
The game goes above and beyond to engage the player through a set of unique mini-games, keeping you engaged in tranquil experiences.
The game has a very friendly UI, aesthetically pleasing graphics, engaging and addictive mini-mames, all while being simple to understand
Would you swipe right or left on this game?
I'd swipe right
As mentioned before the game is short. It doesn't cut corners and feels like it's firmly embedded in what it wanted to be and wants to be to the player playing.
Every minigame is fun, every song is a bop and there's nothing else that gets in the way of enjoying those two very important things.
No annoying dialog, no long cutscenes. You get in and you get out smoothly and for the price of $15 it's honestly a reasonable priced video game.
This concludes my review of this game, while my opinions may be met with criticism, that's what makes gamers unique, you don't have to like the same things that others do, nor do you have to agree with them.
