Street Drag 2 Brings excitement and enjoyment to the car racing franchises. The tutorial at the beginning is very informative and helps you understand the basic when it comes to upgrading your car. That said, if all the fine tuning is too much for you the game also offers you a more traditional way to play with a car that doesn't require super fine tuning. I love this because it caters towards both hardcore car enthusiasts as well as those that aren't familiar with car parts and tuning. Regardless of your knowledge on cars you can still enjoy the game and have fun racing.
The drag races feel like mini games instead of actual racing. At the start you will need to hold down the acceleration and wait for the green light before you push the launch button. Pushing the launch too early will result in a DQ. After that the game auto accelerates for you and your job now becomes simply just clicking a button to change gears when you see the speed meter reach the green. You also can use your nitro at this point as well. As far as the races go that is it. There is no steering or anything else. The gameplay is very simplistic.
The graphics are absolutely gorgeous for a mobile game. You can see all the lights and shadows and reflections. It's a beautifully made game that also has some eye candy thrown in. The game pretty much just comes down to you upgrading your car and making it better. It feels like an RPG game but instead of building out a character's stats you are building out a cars stat. The monetization is pretty aggressive with tons of different ways for you to spend money. The game even offers you a pack that will allow you to play the game offline. This is discourages knowing that they put a simple feature like this behind a pay wall.
Overall, I think is a pretty solid game that any car racing fan will enjoy. The customization in the game is the best part. They give you lots of options to really build out your dream car. I would just be very careful about the cash shop and pop-up packs you see. Those not familiar with the monetization style in mobile games can easily get sucked in and spend more money than they would like. My score for this game is a solid 7/10
