I've played a lot of racing games on the PC and Mobile devices and now I have my hands on Street Drag 2. At first glance it looks like a good Drag Racing Mobile game with a fantastic graphics, but there is more to it. While Street Drag 2 have everything mobile racing game needs it have something special and that is tuning.
Tuning in Street Drag 2 is complex. You have your Project Car and you can tune everything in it. You dont just upgrade the engine to the next stage, you adjust number of cylinders, compression ratio, stroke etc. I personally dont understand even half of the options, but its cool that they are there.
Although if you arent sure what you are doing you can get one of the stock cars available and upgrade it like in other racing games, by going to the next stage of engine, transmission, tires etc. So each will find his own fun in this game.
Racing is pretty straightforward as in the most drag racing games, you rev, start the race, change shifts in time. So its mostly about your car and how good it is. Although if you dont time things correctly you will still be at a disadvantage.
There are some important things about Street Drag 2 worth mentioning though. Each time you start the race your current car loses some durability points that recover over time, so its some sort of energy bar that will pace your gameplay. And most important thing is that n2o is recovering over time as well, so dont spend it all in one race. Although you can buy a pass ingame for real money to have infinite n2o and durability.
Game modes range from single races to ladders and tournaments, overall there are 5 tiers of races with corresponding car tiers. You also have a multiplayer races as an option.
Overall game seems fun, cars look great, tuning can be done without actual knowledge on how it works, so do not be afraid of the complexity of the game at first glance. What I would like though is more available cars to unlock, collect and use, but the game is good as it is.
