Idle shadow feels like an average game. Everything in this game can be found in other idle mobile games but better. I dislike the vertical play style the game has. The worst part is that they have all the upgrades for your character shown underneath the battle scene. It feels like they just tried to squish it in there and be lazy instead of making a new menu system for it to show up and cover the screen. When I am upgrading my character and assigning skills points, I am not looking at the battles, so it seems pointless for them to do this.
The variety of different skills you can acquire, and use is nice. However, the animations that show up when you use a skill are very subtle and not visually appealing. The game has a cash shop, but you don't need to spend money to enjoy the game. I think it can be fun for maybe a few days if you play it casually. The game just lacks anything that keeps you interested and wanting to play more. I don't recommend this game only because there are way better idle mobile games to play.

Idle Shadows has some clunky UI...
Idle Shadows is your typical idle game with some flaws. The game plays in vertical mode which I already hate. The main problem with the UI is that everything is just crammed onto the main battle menu. When you want to upgrade your characters skills or anything you just click on the tab and a very small section opens up under the battle screen. You need to scroll to see all the different stats and determine which you want to upgrade. I would rather see this added as a full screen experience to see everything better. The menus need some serious work.

Pretty nice to see an idle RPG with a somewhat open world.
I believe the game is pretty decent enough for a mobile idle RPG game.
The character has so much room to roam around to kill the enemies, every detail on the stats of the character alongside the weapons is fun to see, and just the action that the character gives is flashy enough to make it great to watch. I think this is great for casual gamers who enjoy idle RPGs.

I get it, its suppose to be an idle game. But deym but a boring idle game. Bruhh. You only get one skill per character. First hour of the game im just looking at my phone not doing anything. The progression to levels is annoying you have to wait like very easy levels like watching your character's doing win animations, mobile games have so much potential but were stuck with the same formulas over and over again. Redeeming value is the graphics and characters are pretty good and music is fantastic ill give u that. Its hella boring for someone like me but if you want like just want a decent idle game just to kill time this is for you.
