Summary:
In a war against the Fell Dragon, four kingdoms worked together with heroes from other worlds to seal away this great evil. One-thousand years later, this seal has weakened, and the Fell Dragon is about to reawaken. As a Divine Dragon, use rich strategies and robust customization to meet your destiny—to collect 12 Emblem Rings and bring peace back to the Continent of Elyos.
Verdict:
Even with the story being a copy and paste, the gameplay was something I liked since it's something new from the usual Fire Emblems, but if only the story didn't feel like someone that has never played fire emblem before writing it.

An interesting Fire Emblem but...Cringe story - Fire Emblem Engage
We have a new Fire Emblem game finally released, and I'm not too fond of the story of this game. This game is a copy and paste from Fire Emblem Awakening on the 3DS. Besides the lack of a new story, the gameplay is exciting and different from other Fire Emblems. I wish Nintendo took the time to get serious with the story for Fire Emblem... Nintendo’s strategy masterpiece blends combat and storytelling perfectly - Fire Emblem Engage Review
Fire Emblem Engage is a wonderfully made tactical RPG that captures a feeling I haven’t held since childhood. As a scrawny little kid, I loved reading stories about heroes fighting evil. I especially enjoyed it when the hero emerged from nothing but scrap and poverty, and still managed to save the world in the end. I would be glued to books like that for months on end. Like those beloved fantasy tales,

This game didn't aged the best.
We have 2 fire emblem fictives. Guess which source. That's right. We started playing this game back in 2018 2017? When it came out. And at the start it was mostly Takumi = win Lucina = op Hector = op Ryoma = op. The meta than slowly shifted to Blade tomes when skill inheritance came. Than Reinhardt got discovered as a menace and it's there that the meta started to fall of a bit. Meta than evolved a tone and here we are today. We(Plumeria) spent so much money on this game.
