Valiant Hearts: Coming Home - What an AMAZING Game!!
1K View2023-02-06I recently tried out the game Valiant Hearts: Coming Home and all I can say is WOW this game was all kinds of amazing. Not only was the art work fantastic, but the story was just engaging and was totally worth watching and listening to. The gameplay doesn't really hold your hand either. You have to figure out how to play the game by yourself for the most part.
The game just teaches you the controls and then lets you figure out how to progress in the game. There isn't much dialogue in the gameplay itself, leaving the game to just use icons in speech bubbles to get messages across. The cut scenes however are fully voiced and the voice acting is great. Honestly I absolutely loved this game. I'm still not sold on needing a subscription with Netflix in order to play the game, I'd much rather pay for the game than rely on a subscription.

Valiant Heart is a fantastic game with gorgeous art work that is slightly held back due to the gameplay and Netflix subscription in order to play. However the game is overall a great one, and if you have an active Netflix subscription, I highly recommend you giving it a shot.

Valiant Hearts: Coming Home - A GORGEOUS STORY Heavy Game
Valiant Hearts: Coming Home is an World War I mobile game that had a truly amazing story and it left me wanting more and more, however the gameplay probably could have done with a little bit more polish.
Gameplay wise, Valiant Hearts: Coming Home has a pretty basic swipe mechanic for traveling or climbing up or down things, and tapping or long pressing on the screen in order to pick things up, hit objects, or to throw things as well. And while this may seem super simple, it does however, at times feel a little bit confusing. Especially with the swipe mechanic, sometimes I felt like I wasn't sure which way I was meant to swipe, and one time I did end up going through the same door several times while trying to do something else.
