Madness / Endless is a great game with unexpected mechanics and it fells good, but the flaws are there and you need to know about them.
In this article we will talk about both good and bad sides of Madness / Endless so you can decide if this is the right game for you.
PROS
1. Great setting.
I love how hopeless, gory and stylish this post-apocalyptic world looks like. It feels a little bit like Darkest Dungeon, maybe Sanity meter adds to that. This world just have to be explored.
2. Unique gameplay.
I personally never played Dash & Slash games. The fact that you can only move next to the walls and dash forward taking out enemies is challenging and fun at the same time. Additional perks like changing dash direction mid-flight and changing forms just adds to that.
3. Fast-paced Hardcore difficulty.
The game isnt easy. It doesnt forgive your mistakes. You have only 1 life, so as soon as you get killed you restart at the start of the floor and go over it again, no midfloor checkpoints. And you will die. A lot. Enemies will just turn around in an unfortunate moment or you miscalculated your actions and you are dead. Its pretty fun though, if you like hard games you will like it.
CONS
1. Controls.
Controls arent as precise as you expect them to be for such a fast-paced game where you need to time and aim your moves perfectly. Moreover the fact that you cant move the buttons is making it hard to play in some situations. Its the most sad death when its because of the controls.
Verdict. Is Madness / Endless good?
Yes! This is a great mobile game, full of challenging encounters and cool story to back it up. An the fact that you die a lot just adds to the satisfaction when you managed to get through the hard spot or a level. Highly recommended to people who like dark or hardcore games.

Madness/Endless provides one of the smoothest combat experiences on mobile. Taking inspiration from games like Hotline Miami, the focus on perfection within a run is clearly felt. Given the more dark nature of the game I would have loved to see the story come together a lot better than it did. There were a few touchscreen controller issues particularly in ways of navigation but that did not distract from the experience too much. By the end of the game, the player felt a level of control that they likely did not expect going in. While there were some parts that could have been refined, Madness/Endless is an experience that should not be missed. At $3.99 this should be one to add to your collection.

Amazing Hardcore Dash & Slash. Madness/Endless Review.
I just love dark games. And I like hardcore games, so I couldnt pass on Madness/Endless. Its gameplay feels unique, since dashing and slashing isnt the normal way I fight enemies. But the pace and style makes it almost perfect.
Gameplay
Madness/Endless is a top-down fast paced action dash & slash mobile game. You move on the edges of the room and dash between them, slicing enemies in the process. And you will lose sanity over time, which is basically your timer/hp. Enemies oneshot you though, so be careful not to get in their sight.

Madness/Endless may damn well be the best horror/stealth game I've played this year. The world it introduces you to is utterly grotesque, and I love it! The creepy sound design, the pixel art, and the slingshot control scheme that's perfectly designed for mobile all blend to make this a must-play.
Starting off in a filthy rat-filled prison cell, it didn't take long for me to get into the world of Madness/Endless. Creepy prisoners gave me weird cryptic messages on how I was to proceed, and the game's mechanics were soon made clear.
