Ultra Blade - An AMAZINGLY FUN Action Roguelike Game!

Ultra Blade just came out on mobile devices and I gotta say, this is a pretty entertaining game. Gameplay wise you have multiple heroes to choose from, once you unlock them of course.

At the start of the game you can only play the first hero, who uses a giant great sword. The combat is pretty easy to get a grip on. You just have to move around the map with your thumb, and let go to do a powerful attack. You can find cache keys around the map, these can open the upgrade cache's to give you extra upgrades along with the standard upgrades you can choose from after leveling up.

You don't earn upgrade choices from completing a wave like in other games of the same genre, in this one it's all from your level progress and unlocking upgrade caches with keys that can drop. You can also gain an upgrade from taking down a boss type as well.

Though that upgrade is random, but you can reroll with a cache key if you don't want the upgrade they give you. In order to unlock the other characters you have to pick up the golden tickets you find while playing the game, and also by completing the various challenges the game asks of you.

Visually the game looks great too. I was surprised also by the amount of items scattered around the map. From the rocks to the trees. The scenery can also be destroyed as well. It's quite different from games like Brotato for example, or 20 minutes till Dawn. And I like that to be honest.

Overall I'd say that Ultra Blade is a fantastic Action Roguelike game that you will enjoy plenty of hours of gameplay with. Challenge yourself and see if you can complete the challenges the game gives you, in order to unlock the other heroes.

I think you will have a great time playing this one. I also noticed this game is coming to PC as well on Steam, so you can wishlist it there too if you would also like to play this experience on PC as well.
