Hey, everyone! I’m Kitten, a designer in the Ashfall dev team. I can’t wait to tell you more about what we’ve been working on! Let’s have a look, shall we?
Today, I’m going to talk about some high-end craftables in our Life Skills. Oh yes, Life Skills. In Ashfall, players can gather all sorts of materials out there in the wasteland and go to the Nüwa crafting stations scattered throughout towns to craft items. Aside from the bare necessities like food, medicine, and ammo, we’re also designing some “high-end” craftables for the game’s later stages. These items will more than make up for their high cost once on the battlefield. That, and they’ll really look the part as far as wasteland luxury is concerned.
After tacking down the larger design concepts, I got some inspiration from some real-world and awesome entertainment sources. Then, I did some brainstorming with our team and collaborated with the devs and artists (they deserve lots of credit!) to draft some initial designs in the game! Allow me to show you.
Guard Drone: Locates and attacks a long-range target with a laser for sustained DMG. (I’m still considering some upgrades, like launching missiles or electric shocks... )
Auto Sentry: Provides continuous Fire Support within range, can be deployed on any surface.
Emergency Aid Device: Continuously restores HP to allies within range.
These are just the tip of the iceberg as far as high-end craftables are concerned. We’ll be rolling out more cool, high-class, and powerful versions down the line as soon as we’re able. Unlimited "Undawn" Addiction Survival
Before the end of CBT in this Undawn game, I am really falling in love with this creation. I think this game is better than LifeAfter. Because Undawn has lesser complicated means it has some pros: got amazing weaponary(Gun, secondary weapon, drone/passive or active, turret, bomb, and many more), armory. Although using all skills need to consume time (it has limited time but longer enough for us to use it) and items parts to activate it (need tactical gear), when the drone, weapon and other items have been used, it will reduce their durability (need repair parts to recover it without losing your time to look over and over again for their parts, except: Repair parts' parts), and ammo crate, tactical gear, repair parts will be our focusing on combat. So, beaware on crafting weapons will be better for us to craft at level 40 or above in order to save rare metal, and rare plate/sheet, because it is hard to find the materials. My other suggestion is if we have pets (dogs, robo - dogs, or any other companion with us to attack and loot enemies and surroundings will be better). I hope for global released will be adding this and other good features. Keep it updated. Best survival games 2023. Include: Earth Revival and Lost Abyss. Besides that also the sword fighting: Project Perceiver, Code To Jin Yong, Jing Yi Wei, Where Winds Meet, Wuchang Fallen Feathers, Swordmans X Survival. Thank you 👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Heya! Today I'm going to tell you more about the personal base system we're developing.
When you reach a certain stage out there in the wasteland, a character will offer you a hideout. This is a space you can call your own: a personal base. At first glance, the personal base seems like nothing more than a warehouse with a bunch of dusty equipment inside. But as you collect building materials and upgrade the equipment, you'll experience all that the personal base has to offer.

Hi Kitten! Great post, super informative and exciting. I had a few questions regarding the features. Are the drones fully automated, or do they offer some degree of control to the player, like a companion character? Would craftables need to be grinded for for long hours, or is there a smart way to farm resources? Lastly, will this game be available on PC? My phone is basically a potato, so a PC version would be great. Thanks in advance for replying
