Hi everyone, I'm Tree, the producer of Ashfall. Thank you all for participating in the closed beta test. Your invaluable feedback has helped us identify many in-game issues and guided us toward the right path for future development. Moving forward, we will conduct a new round of refinements on the current version. After that, a new test is scheduled to kick off in December this year or January next year.

Just a quick update to remind all these important information about the Closed Beta Test! 👀 Test Info The Beta Test will include PC , iOS , and Android (mobile version is only available in the United States) . Test Period: 2023/8/3 6AM(PST) - 2023/8/18 9PM(PST) We will open the registration for a limited time with no qualification requirements. Depending on the number of players who register, we may need to close registration early and distribute further access through redemption codes for the remainder of the test period.

Today, I’m going to talk about some high-end craftables in our Life Skills. Oh yes, Life Skills. In Ashfall, players can gather all sorts of materials out there in the wasteland and go to the Nüwa crafting stations scattered throughout towns to craft items. Aside from the bare necessities like food, medicine, and ammo, we’re also designing some “high-end” craftables for the game’s later stages. These items will more than make up for their high cost once on the battlefield. That, and they’ll really look the part as far as wasteland luxury is concerned.

Ashfall, a new cross-platform adventure shooter MMORPG that is being developed by Legendary Star Studios, is going to make its explosive debut at the Tokyo Game Show 2022 on September 16th, with the game planned to launch on PC, Android, iOS in 2023. The studio is attending the Tokyo Game Show 2022 to reveal information about the game and players can watch Ashfall in action during the IGN Showcase Livestream on September 16 at 10 am PT on the official IGN website, IGN YouTube, IGN Twitch, Facebook and Twitter channels.

Heya, it's Tree here. Glad to be back! This time, I've got three things I want to share with you. First is about our test schedule. We're currently looking at starting our first open beta test in the second quarter, with the test lasting about 15 days. We look forward to your feedback! The test will likely be from late April to mid-May. But, well, you know how it is in this industry... it might get delayed a bit, hahaha. When we are ready, we will provide a more specific test timeline.

Heya! Today I'm going to tell you more about the personal base system we're developing. When you reach a certain stage out there in the wasteland, a character will offer you a hideout. This is a space you can call your own: a personal base. At first glance, the personal base seems like nothing more than a warehouse with a bunch of dusty equipment inside. But as you collect building materials and upgrade the equipment, you'll experience all that the personal base has to offer.

Heya, it's Tree here. Glad to be back! This time, I'm sharing a short video, which has two main takeaways. The first is that we're almost done with the adjustments of weapon handling and recoil which are now very close to other mainstream games. It's just about where we want it with faster RPM and better stability, but we're still keeping the stronger recoil for a sense of authenticity. When players first start off in the game, some will get their hands on some weapon accessories like scopes, magazines, stocks, and more. The status of these accessories will affect the handling difficulty of a weapon, sometimes for better... sometimes for worse. By way of compensation, we'll be supplying a firepower multiplier to the accessories that make firing more difficult. It's such a wild design, I honestly love it! Hahahaha

While you're out and about in the world, you'll get some Clues, and with the help of these Clues, you will be able to find Companions. If it all goes well, you can recruit them, and they can set out with you! There are tons of potential Companions across different maps with their own sets of skills and abilities. As for some Companions like Xu and Dispatcher... well, let us put it this way: they are downright legends, so you've got to put in the time and effort to gain their trust.

Hello, everyone! I’m Kitten96 from the development team and would like to share with you what I’ve been working on lately. These are the puzzles that I’ve been designing for a new mode called Secret Realm. These strange little things are mechanisms that survived the nuclear war between humans and AI a long time ago. Players can interact and will get some reward upon solving these puzzles. When I first got the task to design them, my head was instantly filled with images of the mysterious mechanisms in treasure-hunting movies and games like “Indiana Jones” and “Tomb Raider.”

Heya! I'm back for another chat. Lemme first let you in on what we've been cooking up. Graphics-wise we’ve been out of the early stages of updating the graphics quality of PC version, mainly adding more details to guarantee visual richness for bigger screens. I'll be sure to share some before-and-after pics! We've also made some progress on weapon handling and firing recoil, which we'll show you in some videos later on.

On the Graphics Sooo… Some of you said the graphics were PS3 quality. LOL. I had to sit with that for a bit, but then I figured out what you meant, and you know what? Yeah! You’re totally right. Because what our trailer shows is basically an early PC version, more like a mobile version but with slightly better graphics.
