Settlement Survival is a city-building survival simulation mobile game with lots of buildings and facilities features. I was quite shocked to see a very massive details on resources, buildings, population and overall civilization in this game. The game did remind me of age of empires game where I had to start from scratch to start a civilization with very few population on my hand. To my disappointment, its seems that there is no pvp content in this game or any sort of AI competitor at all with whom we can compete against. Our only opponent is the natural causes like plagues, aging population and baby booms. None the less, I did enjoy the cool 3D designs of every elements and structures in this game.
In the gameplay, I was surprised to see a massive varieties of resources on the left of the screen. That instantly gave me the basic idea on how complicated the gameplay will be. With your people's help you can collect available resources nearby. You can hunt animals, do fishing, cut trees, gather metal ores/stones and so on. With the resources available, you can sustain your civilization and start progression further by building new structures and researching new technologies. I was quite amazed to see a lot of building options that I could build in the game. Each building has its own function and provides unique services for the welfare and development of the settlement. Though, there seemed to be no advanced and detailed tutorial, I was quite happy to see the task goal system which actually helped me to get started with my civilization and get on with the basic gameplay.
On the other side, I was quite happy to see various technology upgrades that can be done in each sector. With technology upgrades on each sector, it did give me a lot of options on how I can advance my settlement focusing on a particular sector. We have to make most use out of our limited technology points. Later on we seem to be able to interact with any nearby settlements for trading resources.
Overall, this game is a massive simulation game with lots of elements to control. I do recommend players to try this game out if you want to have a fun of creating a civilization from scratch and advance to the highest possible era. The 3D graphics is quite smooth and the gameplay had no lags or crashes. We can speed the game upto 5x, which I found to be very helpful to get away with painfully long simulation processes such as building structures. Anyways try it out and let me know what you think of this game.
