Arathos Places: Pandemonium

Long before the Red Witch's reign, the Tower of Lost Souls was constructed by an ancient Cyroni king who devoted himself to philosophy and magic, believing that he was the chosen king of a pagan deity. The king was driven to madness by visions of immense wealth and power, leading him to commit human sacrifices to please his master. These atrocities slowly corrupted the king's heart and mind, as well as the tower he had built as a symbol of his dominance. The demons saw an opportunity in the mad king and used him as a foothold in this world, reshaping the tower to suit their dark nature.

Located at the southern tip of Hesteil, the Twin Frost Pillars has been home to the Crystal of Arathos since time immemorial. After the Battle of Cyron Steppes, the Kingdoms of Arathos formed the Council of the Apostles. The representatives of the six nations are entrusted with preserving the hard-won peace in Arathos. The council also resolves international disputes and appointed Leon Daracan as Crystalbearer.
