Arathos Places: Carmouth

Everglades is the region richest in ley lines in Arathos, and Arx Grammon was the richest intersection of ley lines in all of Everglades. The experiments by the Red Witch before the great war sunk half of the Everglades, and the only building left standing was the great tower of Arx Grammon. The intense fallout caused the magic in Arx Grammon to become unstable, preserving the tower from destruction but also becoming a dangerous place of paradoxes where creatures that roam the floors come from across all time and space. Henceforth renamed 'Pandemonium'.

Long before the Red Witch's reign, the Tower of Lost Souls was constructed by an ancient Cyroni king who devoted himself to philosophy and magic, believing that he was the chosen king of a pagan deity. The king was driven to madness by visions of immense wealth and power, leading him to commit human sacrifices to please his master. These atrocities slowly corrupted the king's heart and mind, as well as the tower he had built as a symbol of his dominance. The demons saw an opportunity in the mad king and used him as a foothold in this world, reshaping the tower to suit their dark nature.

𝐄𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐥𝐲... The Wescotte Arcanarium, also known as the Arcanarium, is the most prestigious magical school in all of Arathos. Located in Venefica, the nexus of arcane research and knowledge, it attracts the brightest minds and magical scholars from far and wide. Notable figures such as Valiant Kiera and Octavia, Governor of Cas, are just two examples of influential graduates from the Arcanarium.
