If hot waifus and hero collecting are your thing, then Stella Fantasy might be something you want to check out. What I enjoyed most about this game were the visual elements and free-roaming aspects, which were impressive on the highest graphic settings. Not to mention a musical opening that legitimately caught me by surprise but in a good way. But despite the hotties, the fantastic combat, and the interesting story, it's hard to discuss Stella Fantasy without bringing up its PTW elements. In Stella Fantasy, you can sell your characters as NFTs on the crypto market. That might sound appealing to some, but to collect characters, you must invest some real-life money because the drop rates are so low. Stella Fantasy's entire mechanic is based on this PTW element, meaning if you're just interested in collecting hot waifus or the combat, you will be frustrated.

As some of you may know, Aether Gazer is developed by Yong Shi, the same developers behind Azure Lane. They are known for their "culture" and while Aether Gazer is not as spicy in the "culture" department, there are some upcoming Modifiers that are packing some heat! THOR Thor is a Yggdrasil Gen-zone Modifier that is often regarded as the "buff" to S rank Osiris and for good reason. She has her ultimate skill chain with S Osiris and is the perfect team mate for her to boost each others damage. You can also complete the Thor + S Osiris team with Heimdall who is a great buffer and also of the Yggdrasil Gen-zone.

I'm totally unfamiliar with the original Brown Dust, but Brown Dust 2 has almost immediately and completely won me over as my favorite gacha game I've played since last year's Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent. Like that game, Brown Dust 2 uses absolutely gorgeous hi-res pixel art and storytelling that feels like it comes from the Super Nintendo era of classic Japanese role-playing games.

If you, like me, are drawn in by the game's promotional trailer, believe me, this game is definitely worth your attention. I've spent nearly 10 hours on this game now, and I can assure you there are no glitches or lag in the main narrative. You can even play using the lower-starred characters, although I got lucky and drew Lilya (which was exciting!) The superb art style really is the game's showcase, a major factor that lures most players to start the game in the first place. I'll skip further praises as it speaks for itself.

Probably the best game of the year for me. Simple, elegant, entertaining, plenty of events and really good design quality. The characters are lovely, you get to know all of them with a certain depth, and Velanna won't let you forget things. 10/10, having lots of fun. The community is great as well.

I'm far from the biggest sports fan, but if there's one game I've always enjoyed watching (and playing) above any others, it's basketball. So combining my appreciation for that sport with my weakness for gacha games? Well, that's awfully scary. NBA Infinite is just such a combination, and it comes from the gacha experts at Level Infinite, the studio behind other addictive—some might say manipulative!—mobile games like Tower of Fantasy and Undawn. And while it's not a perfect game, even in its early closed beta form, I can already see how it could pull players like me in to the gacha stuff hard.

The Archenemy of Boredom candidate. May look like yet another survivor/roguelite low quality clone at first, but it's fun asf when you get some gear and perfect for killing quite a lot of time. Featuring somewhat overly dramatic intro, yet sad, then we've got a beautiful OST (saw some guy review this on taptap, saying the ost is low budget...are you deaf? numbskull), art style is beautiful and there are few other game modes of which one is themed event.

Every since I returned to Honkai Star Rail back in 6th February of this year, there has been 5 characters I wanted to acquire: Black Swan, Acheron, Firefly, Ruan Mei and Kafka. I already have Black Swan and Acheron and Firefly is finally here after 4+ months of waiting along with Ruan Mei. Thankfully, I saved up the entire last patch along with the anniversary rewards that was handed out and managed to save 200 pulls. Here's how my pulls went:

I’ll be honest. I’m not the biggest fan of gacha games. Something about rolling for characters and the aggressive monetization that sees you spending money without any real guarantees turns me off. That being said, Goddess of Victory: Nikke may be the game that changes my mind. Yes, this is still very much a gacha game, but it combines sci-fi, RPG, FPS, and waifu elements into one enticing bundle. There really is something for everyone here, all packaged in an immersive narrative experience.

SHOULD I PLAY ATELIER RESLERIANA? If you’re a big fan of the Atelier franchise or are looking for a cute, chill gacha game, Atelier Resleriana definitely deserves a closer look. That said, if you’re expecting a full-scale Atelier game, Resleriana might be a disappointment. Officially speaking, this is a mainline entry in the Atelier series, but it feels like a spin-off. There are no environments to explore, and the crafting system is stripped down and simplified. It’s a fun, appealing game, and I definitely enjoyed my time with it, but it doesn’t compare to

Both the art style and moment-to-moment combat of Myth: Gods of Asgard are very clearly inspired by one obvious source: Hades, the beloved roguelite action-RPG from Supergiant Games. That comparison may set Myth up for some unfortunate disappointment, however. It's not that Myth is bad; it's just not easy to live up to one of the best games of the last decade! Once I got past that initial stumbling block, though, I was pretty quickly won over by what Myth: Gods of Asgard offers. I played through stories plucked from Norse mythology and unlocked four playable characters—Brynhild, Siegfrid, Thor, and Ullr. Each of these heroes has a unique main weapon along with their own special abilities and general feel to combat. But they all feel really great, and in general the game does a solid job of emulating the fast-paced, responsive battles of Hades.
