I went into the closed beta test for Kemono Friends: Kingdom knowing basically nothing about this franchise beyond the fact that there has been at least one previous mobile game and a semi-popular anime series. So if you're a hardcore fan, know that my opinion is based solely on the little bit I've played of this latest mobile game in the series and nothing else. That said, that little bit I've played is pretty dang fun! Kemono Friends takes place in a world where animals have been transformed into anime waifus, who in turn are at war with a more aggressive breed of mutated creature called "Ceruleans." I took on the role of a newcomer to this strange world who had amnesia but was able to help out in the fight against the Ceruleans.

Both the art style and moment-to-moment combat of Myth: Gods of Asgard are very clearly inspired by one obvious source: Hades, the beloved roguelite action-RPG from Supergiant Games. That comparison may set Myth up for some unfortunate disappointment, however. It's not that Myth is bad; it's just not easy to live up to one of the best games of the last decade! Once I got past that initial stumbling block, though, I was pretty quickly won over by what Myth: Gods of Asgard offers. I played through stories plucked from Norse mythology and unlocked four playable characters—Brynhild, Siegfrid, Thor, and Ullr. Each of these heroes has a unique main weapon along with their own special abilities and general feel to combat. But they all feel really great, and in general the game does a solid job of emulating the fast-paced, responsive battles of Hades.

If you couldn’t get enough of Honkai: Star Rail and found yourself thinking? Is there something similar that’s worth playing? Aether Gazer could be the game for you. Like Honkai: Star Rail and Wuthering Waves, it’s an Action RPG with gacha elements. You can expect to level and collect different characters, get daily rewards for playing, and get new combat abilities that show off the game’s dynamic visuals. But if you’re looking for something truly unique, you’ll be left wanting. Nothing here hasn’t been done in the genre and the overall sci-fi narrative that initially showed promise was generic and confusing. However, if you don’t care about any of that and are just looking for something that looks great and allows you to hack-n-slash and collect heroes, you won’t be disappointed.

Can I say I feel the love devs put on this game? Man, it's so smooth, considering the tablet I use. Camera angles, movs you can do, characters,details of stages, music, sounds, voices are WONDERFUL. I Rarely feel this good playing a mobile game, but this one it's like path of nowhere, which I like a lot, but more chiby and better optimized / detailed . 4 stars only because there aren't voices in the story, it's the only sad part.

🎨 Graphics: I think one of the best things in this game it's the art and character designs, I've never seen something so good like this in mobile gachas and I'm honestly impressed 🎮 Gameplay: turn based, works a bit like arknight's gameplay, very fun but probably not everyone's cup of tea 📖 Storyline: very good storyline with very well written characters, I'm surprised at the depth of these stories and how 'poetic' in a way they are

I’ve never played Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, but Nier: Automata just might be my favorite video game of all time. It’s got everything I want in games: awesome battles, an emotional story, and an incredibly loveable cast of characters. I’m always happy to spend more time with characters like 2B, and that’s why the upcoming Goddess of Victory: NIKKE x NieR:Automata crossover event has me curious. I don’t know exactly what the collaboration will involve, but I do know that 2B, A2, and a few other characters will be visiting NIKKE’s world. In the trailer, you can see one of my favorite Nier: Automata characters, Pascal, holding a Lunar Tear. If they were looking for a way to tug at my heartstrings, they found it.

I'm totally unfamiliar with the original Brown Dust, but Brown Dust 2 has almost immediately and completely won me over as my favorite gacha game I've played since last year's Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent. Like that game, Brown Dust 2 uses absolutely gorgeous hi-res pixel art and storytelling that feels like it comes from the Super Nintendo era of classic Japanese role-playing games.
