It's always exciting to get early access to a cool-looking game, but sometimes it's a little too early. Such is the case with Equinox: Dawn's Edge, a sci-fi gacha that's available for download in an early beta form now. This game makes a good first impression with some flashy cinematics and fast-moving auto-combat, but what awaits beyond those early moments is...pretty rough. From unfinished and untranslated text to missing sound effects to framerate drops and crashes, it's clear that Equinox is not remotely ready to be played by a wide audience at this point. Heck, the game didn't even give me an awesome cinematic when I pulled the gacha. How is a gacha game supposed to get people hyped to spend money without that?!

SHOULD I PLAY ASTRA: KNIGHTS OF VEDA? If you’ve been searching for a dark fantasy action RPG, you’ll definitely want to keep an eye on Astra: Knights of Veda. It blends vibrant, painting-like visuals with old-school beat-em-up gameplay, and that combination is fantastic. There’s also a dark story with elements of Lovecraftian horror and a gacha system. I ran into some issues during my time with the demo, but the game is really promising overall, and I’m looking forward to seeing more of it.

PLAY IT OR SKIP IT? Play it! Honkai: Star Rail is a sci-fi RPG that’s better than developer MiHoYo’s Honkai Impact 3rd and comes very close to the charm of the much-loved Genshin Impact. Star Rail’s immersive storyline, beautiful graphics, and deep turn-based combat have kept me thoroughly entertained. TIME PLAYED I played Honkai: Star Rail for seven hours. The tutorial took me around forty minutes, and the rest of my play time has been dedicated to various lengthy questlines. I’ve also acquired seven characters and leveled five of them to their current max of level twenty.

SHOULD I PLAY MAGIC CHRONICLE? Probably not, unless you’re dying for a new idle game. Magic Chronicle is the latest in a long line of idle auto-battler gacha games that are essentially just clones of AFK Arena with nothing new to offer. The presentation in this one is high-quality enough, if generic, and there’s at least a lot of different modes to keep players distracted. But in the end, there’s just not a hook here that’s likely to pull in players long-term, especially if insane levels of pay-to-win monetization put you off.

Every since I returned to Honkai Star Rail back in 6th February of this year, there has been 5 characters I wanted to acquire: Black Swan, Acheron, Firefly, Ruan Mei and Kafka. I already have Black Swan and Acheron and Firefly is finally here after 4+ months of waiting along with Ruan Mei. knew people were waiting for her to become playable (and I both wanted and was sure of it). But I really didn't expect her to explode like this. She received way more attention in an hour than most of characters in their drip market, and her drip market was the first one to get a shorts on the official YouTube channels. What I mean is: this might be frightening for Mihoyo, and they are aware of what they did: they know what people expect her to be. I don't even think Acheron (Probably the one that broke the game the most at her first apparition), Kafka and Sparkle (their trailers like Acheron hitting like a truck) got that much attention at their drip market. There even was a website made to let Firefly waiters know when she will get her drip market and be released (https://firefly.party/) She Cannot disappoint. Her gameplay, the conclusion of her story, and her trailer all have to be absolute bangers. I have a feeling like she might do twice the views of Kafka or Sparkle trailers. And I don't think Mihoyo are unaware of it, the fact she was the first one to get drip market on YouTube shorts shows that they know what they cooked. I am a little scared of the reactions of players when she will be released... But I guess we will see. What do you guys think of the brutal hype of the character over simply a drip market?

Imagine waking up and learning you’re a god with a group of sexy lady knights who are all attracted to you and ready to serve at your beck and call. If it sounds like a teenage boy’s fantasy, you’re not wrong, but it’s also the plot of Master of Knights! But don’t get me wrong. If that little synopsis isn’t precisely your schtick, there are plenty of things in Master of Knights to enjoy. This gacha-styled turn-based RPG has plenty of the familiar elements you’ll find in the genre: paid summons and auto features to speed through battles, but the unique combat mechanic made me feel like playing a game of chess as opposed to a traditional gacha. But from the moment I started, it was the visuals that really made this title unique.

Total size when I play this game is 3,27 GB, a turn-based team RPG that features raguelike gameplay. I was quite fooled by the size of this game, but the graphics did not disappoint. As I mentioned earlier, Rapid slasher is a raguelike mode in this game. With a summon ticket prize with a total of 4, 8, 12 stages completed and excellent hero shards (random rarity chance A / S / S+) which is obtained at stage 16.
