I’ve never played Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, but Nier: Automata just might be my favorite video game of all time. It’s got everything I want in games: awesome battles, an emotional story, and an incredibly loveable cast of characters. I’m always happy to spend more time with characters like 2B, and that’s why the upcoming Goddess of Victory: NIKKE x NieR:Automata crossover event has me curious. I don’t know exactly what the collaboration will involve, but I do know that 2B, A2, and a few other characters will be visiting NIKKE’s world. In the trailer, you can see one of my favorite Nier: Automata characters, Pascal, holding a Lunar Tear. If they were looking for a way to tug at my heartstrings, they found it.

Topaz rerun timing is so unfortunate

Valiant Force 2 is a recently released anime gacha game that I found myself playing for quite some time and for the most part it was fairly enjoyable. The story part of the game has a lot of cinematics and conversational cut scenes, but while the early cut scenes did have voice acting, once you progressed further into the game, the voice acting was removed and you were left reading the story. I personally am not a fan of these sorts of situations, I'd much rather they stick with the voice acting if they are going to start off with it.

If you, like me, are drawn in by the game's promotional trailer, believe me, this game is definitely worth your attention. I've spent nearly 10 hours on this game now, and I can assure you there are no glitches or lag in the main narrative. You can even play using the lower-starred characters, although I got lucky and drew Lilya (which was exciting!)
