I’ll be honest. I’m not the biggest fan of gacha games. Something about rolling for characters and the aggressive monetization that sees you spending money without any real guarantees turns me off. That being said, Goddess of Victory: Nikke may be the game that changes my mind. Yes, this is still very much a gacha game, but it combines sci-fi, RPG, FPS, and waifu elements into one enticing bundle. There really is something for everyone here, all packaged in an immersive narrative experience.

It's been over three months since we first got a teaser for the Arknights X Dungeon Meshi collaboration. After the teaser, I decided to check out the Dungeon Meshi anime and I am so glad I got introduced to this series. It is just a wonderful fantasy show with really good characterization & world building. As some of you may know, Aether Gazer is developed by Yong Shi, the same developers behind Azure Lane. They are known for their "culture" and while Aether Gazer is not as spicy in the "culture" department, there are some upcoming Modifiers that are packing some heat! THOR Thor is a Yggdrasil Gen-zone Modifier that is often regarded as the "buff" to S rank Osiris and for good reason. She has her ultimate skill chain with S Osiris and is the perfect team mate for her to boost each others damage. You can also complete the Thor + S Osiris team with Heimdall who is a great buffer and also of the Yggdrasil Gen-zone.

knew people were waiting for her to become playable (and I both wanted and was sure of it). But I really didn't expect her to explode like this. She received way more attention in an hour than most of characters in their drip market, and her drip market was the first one to get a shorts on the official YouTube channels. What I mean is: this might be frightening for Mihoyo, and they are aware of what they did: they know what people expect her to be. I don't even think Acheron (Probably the one that broke the game the most at her first apparition), Kafka and Sparkle (their trailers like Acheron hitting like a truck) got that much attention at their drip market. There even was a website made to let Firefly waiters know when she will get her drip market and be released (https://firefly.party/) She Cannot disappoint. Her gameplay, the conclusion of her story, and her trailer all have to be absolute bangers. I have a feeling like she might do twice the views of Kafka or Sparkle trailers. And I don't think Mihoyo are unaware of it, the fact she was the first one to get drip market on YouTube shorts shows that they know what they cooked. I am a little scared of the reactions of players when she will be released... But I guess we will see. What do you guys think of the brutal hype of the character over simply a drip market?

Grand Quest just entered open beta, and as someone who's always searching for my next go-to gacha game, I had to give it a shot. So far, I'm definitely pretty impressed, though it has some work to go. Perhaps the biggest surprise in Grand Quest, especially when compared to other gacha games, is that the story is pretty entertaining and well-translated. Much of it is told through stylish comic book-panel cutscenes, and I was shocked to find myself actually enjoying getting to know these characters.

SHOULD I PLAY THE WANDERING ARK? Give this one a go if you're into gacha games, slingshot mechanics, PVP, or post-apocalyptic settings. I'm usually very suspicious about gacha titles and the all too frequent pay-to-win strategies that keep the game from being fun without. Luckily, The Wandering Ark was consistently entertaining and has generous drops. Best of all, I didn't have to pay anything! TIME PLAYED
