I love tower defense games, but I've played so many over the years that it's tough to find one that does something new. With that in mind, Defense Derby definitely surprised and impressed me! It starts out looking like the typical gacha-heavy, merge-style tower defense game that's become so popular on mobile in recent years, but there's a lot more going on here. The real core of Defense Derby's brilliance is in the method of recruiting new units for the four players going against each other in any given match. In between waves of monster attacks, a single unit will be made available, and players must each put in a bid for that unit. The player with the highest bid (or players, if multiple players bid the same amount) pay that price and get the unit in exchange.

It's been a year since the First Test, and Zenless Zone Zero has finally got some exciting news!! At the Gamescom in the early hours of today, it released a new trailer featuring new Interaction systems and Combat elements. Though it's just over one minute long, it's packed with content, let's delve into each of the details. ⭐️  Three New City Block The trailer starts by showing three brand new city block settings.

Laid-Back Camp All -in -one is a cute game about camping that's sure to give you cozy vibes, but the gameplay doesn't live up to it's charming setting. Based on the anime series Laid-Back Camp, this story-drive gacha game follows a group of friends that travel around Japan, setting up campsites in different locations. It does a terrific job capturing the look and feel of the anime, but the actual game could use some work.

The latest patch 3.0 for Aether Gazer introduced a slew of new content including the main story chapter 19. Not only was it really interesting, it also did some nice world building and gave the poster girl of Aether Gazer more character development. It also had some of the best cutscenes I have seen in Aether Gazer so far. The quality of them really blew my mind! (SPOILER WARNING for Main Story Chapter 19)

Honkai Impact 3rd has the most intricately-planned plot, amazing storytelling and animated cutscenes, and the best roster of female (and male) characters in any gacha game ever. ......which is why this game will never be successful among the new generation of gamers. Developed by Shift Up who are well known for their other super popular anime game: Destiny Child. And published by Level Infinite, who is also tied to Tower of Fantasy. If you're familiar with Destiny Child and Shift Up, you should probably have a pretty good idea with what you can expect, art wise in NIKKE. Especially since one of the illustrators from Destiny Child is the one who did the artwork for NIKKE. SHOULD I PLAY MAGIC CHRONICLE? Probably not, unless you’re dying for a new idle game. Magic Chronicle is the latest in a long line of idle auto-battler gacha games that are essentially just clones of AFK Arena with nothing new to offer. The presentation in this one is high-quality enough, if generic, and there’s at least a lot of different modes to keep players distracted. But in the end, there’s just not a hook here that’s likely to pull in players long-term, especially if insane levels of pay-to-win monetization put you off.

It's been over three months since we first got a teaser for the Arknights X Dungeon Meshi collaboration. After the teaser, I decided to check out the Dungeon Meshi anime and I am so glad I got introduced to this series. It is just a wonderful fantasy show with really good characterization & world building.
